LG PRADA KE850 I have only had the phone for 2 days now after selling a new Sony w610i which was a great phone but love the prada phone more
I Got Phone, battery, charger, software, 256mb micro sd card with sd adaptor, usb charger and computer interface cable, instructions, leather case, cleaning cloth for screen
Functions The phone has a MP3 player MP3 ring tones Touch Screen, this is a great phone for texters, altough you do have to be careful not to touch the wrong part of the screen or you input the wrong word Predictive text dictionary is very good 256MB micro sd card maximum the phone will take is 2GB 4 themes to change the coulour of the background and screen saver. Menus are difficult to navigate at first but you soon get used to them and for people who have had LG phones before the menu system will possibly be second nature 1000 spaces for contacts 2.0Mega pixel camera and video camera sms, mms and email messaging
Feel It is a light and easy to use phone, getting used to the touch screen is simply and you find it a lot easier to use than a conventional push button keypad mobile phone. The phone fits in your hand well and its not too bulky It is light weight and fits in your hand easliy
Durability Like all phones it will suffer damage if dropped and not to sore how the screen would survive Also i have left the screen protector on to stop the touch screen getting cratched
Quality Sound quality as a speaker mp3 player is satisfactory but by no means as good as the sony walkman phones but through head phones its fantastic and also comes with a inline remote control to operate the mp3 and answer calls Quality of speach whilst talking is excellent and i called both my brothers and they said it was very loud so picked up speach easily during a call.
Reception As with all modern phones reception of signal is excellent
Battery Standby and talk time Well not really had the time to test this out, but I have noticed the battery drains quickly but I am in the playing with the phone at every opportunity. texting listening to MP3s and making calls, At my rate i would say the battery would need cahrging about every 4 days but if you left the phone alone it would last nearly the 11 days or so that LG claim for this phone
Value I Got the phone direct from Orange for free on Dolphin 35 18 month contract which is £35.00/ month includes 600 minutes cross network calls and unlimited text messages. Also opted for the free broadband offered by orange aswell so since I pay tiscali £15.00 a month for broadband the phone looks great. To top it off on the orange website and call centre if you quote 100credit you currently get £100 credit on your orange account so for a £400 phone
Touch screen The touch screen is easy to get used to and becomes easier to use than a normal keyed keypad phone. It takes a bit of getting used to i.e . pressing the right place to get the functin to work, but once this is sussed out it is so simply to use and since you are touching and not pressing keys it is a lot easier on your fingers. One major drawback is the screen shows every single mark and so does the high gloss black case on the rear
Range It is a great phone easy to use with a great capability for signal reception
