I got a great deal from Orange so I'm now the proud owner of the Arena.
It's a candybar phone with a completely touch screen interface. I was a bit wary about not having a keypad but this phone is very responsive and I haven't had any trouble so far. My phone has a screen protector on it so it doesn't get scratched and this hasn't affected the way the phone responds to touch.
It has the unique 'S-class' interface which has four different screens - the widget screen which is completely customizable, the contacts screen which displays your favourite contacts, the shortcut screen which is again customizable to your own choice and the multimedia screen which displays your favourite tracks and photos.
There is the 'Home' screen which has all the other options such as calendar, calculator, messaging, camera etc.
There is a five million pixel camera with flash and auto focus which is really good. The pictures are clear and focused and operated via the touch screen controls. As with most camera phones, the pictures aren't brilliant quality when taken in low light but they are adequate enough.
This phone is wi-fi enabled for surfing the next on wireless networks, and has bluetooth and 3G.
There is 8GB of internal memory and room for expansion with a micro SD card up to 16GB.
The reason I picked this phone is because it rivalled the iphone for both storage and features. I've got 8GB of storage for music and pictures and I'm pretty sure I won't need all of it. The camera isn't top of the range but I have a digital camera for fantastic pictures and 5mp is more than adequate for taking a few snap shots on the go.
One little annoyance is that the screen switches itself off and you have to keep pressing the on/off button to bring it back on. It also defaults to a screen saver and you have to press and hold the screen to unlock it. This isn't too much of a problem though as it does maintain the security of the phone.
Advantages: two camera's, fast, easy to access and navigate, excellent sound and graphics, hardwearing Disadvantages: bottom heavy.
...this time round that the LG Arena touchscreen model would be the perfect phone for me and they were right! The thought of a touchscreen phone somewhat terrified me and on its arrival i have to admit it took me twenty minutes to turn it on and a further 30 minutes to work out how to dial a number. This was by no means a fault of the phone but perhaps my lack of knowledge of touchscreen phones and LG models. After a couple of days i had totally got ... ...have ever had.
The LG Arena is slim, sexy and lightweight with a multitute of functions that i never imagined i would need on a mobile phone (some of which i still havent used!). The LG Arena includes: 1. 2 x camera’s

Advantages: touch screen wifi, good features and separate audio socket Disadvantages: Power hungry, and be unstable a times and struggles in poor reception
...4 months upgrade from the LG cookie. Physically the phone is thicker and heavier than the cookie. It is not as sleek with mat silver on the back, chrome silver on the sides and brush silver on the front. The 3 inch LCD screen was very clear and a nice size. Usability the menu and touch screen were very easy to use and the icons were self explanatory. QWERTY touch keyboard is brilliant for texts especially the hold magnifies letter feature. Very power ... ...can also be unstable at times locking up on shutting down, have had to update the firmware. Multi Media wise the camera and video record where excellent quality and again very easy to use. MP3 player was good clear sound quality too. The 8GB on internal memory is nice and the micro SD socket allowing more external memory. The separate 3.5mm audio socket is a good addition. Connectivity, the phone has a poorer signal strength in poor areas where my ...
Advantages: it is a brilliant phone...loads of features, easy to use. Disadvantages: it slightly like the i-phone but it does have it better features.
...have recently just had an LG Viewty KU990, which I loved, but when someone stood on my screen and it broke, I needed a new one, luckily an upgrade was in order. BIG SMILES all around for me yesterday when I decided to go for this phone. Firstly I love the style of this phone, I chose to have it in pink, because I am a girl but they also do a sliver one which in my oppinion is very smart, slim and easy to handle.
One of the things I don't like on ... ...5 Mega pixels, The highes LG megapixel phone is an 8 Mega Pixel, but I would say a five is as good as any, I used my old LG Viewty on nights out and I could see all of the pictures I took clearly. The camera and video camera both have an editing suite on them so you can make movies or crop and edit images to you own specification. This LG phone also has 3 games free with it's new M-Toy device. This is a motioned sensor for the games and also helps ...

Advantages: Stylish, not heavy, good features, easy to use Disadvantages: Poor battery life
Being the first touchscreen phone I have owned, I found it quite difficult to use to begin with, but this did not last long. Compared to other touchscreen phones I have looked at, this one is just as easy to use as others. Writing and sending text messages is easy once you are used to it. One thing which I find really useful on this phone is that you can send a text message when there is no signal, the phone will then deliver it once signal is once ... ...me with previous phones, as you normally have to keep checking when you have signal to send the text message, as it comes up with something similar to 'no network, cannot send txt'. Wifi is easy to use and a great addition in my opinion. The only problems I have found with the phone so far is that it ocassionally switches itself off for no apparent reason, and the battery life is not very long, as I have to charge it every other day. However, I would ...

...of the phone, is the lg s class, basically personisable the cube menu. Alough its advertised as a cube you can't actually see the top or bottom, theres one side for genral shortcuts, one for contacts, one for multimedia, and one for widgits. On bothe the contact and multimedia homescreen there are wheels, which are a nice touch, but these are slightly inconvinent when flipping sides, exspessially for contacts. Another major featue of this £399 phone ... ...and the settings are convinent, the cameria loading time is a little sluggish, ot almoust instantly takes the picture, then it loads and takes the picture again. This is reasnobally usefull as it does give you a preview picture, but this is rather inconvenient for first time users, or taking photos with others. There is also a low resalution camera on the front, which is usefull, and, if anythig, loads better that the back camera! In terms of connctivity, ...
