I'm never to fussed what phone I get, as long as I can do the basics on it them I'm fine, which that must sound weird considering I'm 19, a lot of people around my age, have to have the latest phone on the market, but as long as I can text and ring with ease, then I'm fine with whatever I have, this were out for a few months and I was thinking about getting my first ever contract about 2 years ago now, my brother and his girlfriend both had one of these phones on contract and recommended it to me, The pink LG cookie on contract was cheaper than the black one, despite the black one looking better I decided to go for the pink one for the obvious reason it was only £15 a month and not £20 like the black one.
The text and ringing on this was fairly easy and the buttons were set out the same as a normal phone only it was touch screen so there wasn't to much of a change really, it means everyone old and young can still get the hang of it and fully understand, the camera is 3 mega pixels, which is good, but I found the pictures very distorted and pixilated which made it hard to take any good photos on the spot when out and about. The phone did have a built-in accelerometer, which means that it doesn't matter which way you hold the phone the screen will change round to suit it, which I found good, but pointless, because the buttons are still the same way.
Overall in my opinion, I don't think that anyone should of had any problems with using this phone as it was fairly straight forward and simple, the inbox couldn't hold to many messages despite having a memory card which I found myself constantly deleting it all which was really annoying, there's no select all messages to delete option either so you have to do it one by one. Luckily this phone didn't find itself down the toilet or in the bath like the majority of my others, but it did find itself on ebay a couple of months later, this is because the battery life on this is extremely shocking, I had to charge it up every day and often found myself without my phone at college when I needed it most because it had died on the way, This was really starting to annoy me, also because it was touch screen you could lock it, but then it being in your pocket and touch screen, it would unlock itself and I'd be ringing 3 different people a day at the very least so it was wasting my minutes and more often than not I was going over my bill and having to pay more. So thought the best idea was to put on ebay sell it and put my contract sim in my old phone for the remainder of the contract.
