The LG KU990 also known as LG VIEWTY is a great phone with excellent features and design. This is a slim and stylish phone with a 5 megapixel camera which is the main attraction of this phone. It is a touch screen phone with a big screen.
It has a 3 Inch TFT LCD 262k Touch Screen with a pixel size of 240 x 400 pixels
GENERAL It is a candy-bar phone with dimensions of 55 x 104 x 17 mm which are great when looking at the features this phone offers. It weights only 112g less than the K850i and N95. It has a lithium ion rechargeable battery which has a talk time of approximately 6 hours and a stand by time of approximately 430 hours which is nearly 18 days. It is a 3G phone with HDSPA.
DISPLAY The screen size is 44 x 66 mm (W x H). It has a resolution of 240x400 pixels.
CAMERA It has a 5 megapixel camera with Xenon Flash, Auto Focus, Digital Zoom and Image Stabiliser. It has a separate camera button. It also has High Speed Video Recording with 120 fps. It has a video player like all other mobile phones but it also offers a video editor which is quite new technology on mobile phones.
MESSAGING The LG KU990 can also be used to send SMS, EMS, MMS and E-mail which is a new feature and with the fast growing technology of internet almost everyone will have access to the internet in a few years so this makes the e-mail feature much better and it is also free but you might be charged for accessing the internet from your phone which depend on your service provider, '3' usually gives some internet usage so it might be better to go with '3' rather than any other service provider if you want to access the internet or send and receive e-mails. It also has predictive language which sometimes makes it easier and faster for you to write text messages or e-mails.
SOUND It has a very nice music player and FM radio. It has a video recorder and you can also have polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringtones so you don't get embarrassed when your phone rings with a silly polyphonic ringtone but instead you could have a nice MP3 song.
GAMES It is a java enabled phone so you can download free games from the internet. It also has some embedded games to start you off with.
ORGANIZER The organizer consists of a phone book, Calendar, Alarm Clock, calculator, vibration alert and speaker phone. These are all common features that most of the mobile phone has so it is a bit disappointing when looking at the organizer. But it has other great features which balance this out.
CONNECTIVITY The LG KU990 has 3G HSDPA, USB, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and TV output. So TV output is an extra feature because not all mobile phones have it. It has a WAP browser which can be used to access e-mails.
Overall this is a good phone mainly because of the 5 megapixel camera. This is not my first choice but I still like it a lot and would love to have this phone.

not really much of a fan of lg phones - i tried one a while back and didnt really get on with it
