It is designed to let users enjoy simple and convenient access to many Audio Video / TV devices such as a DVD Player, VCR, Video game console, camcorder and many more. The design is compact, sleek and slender and the performance quality is, in my opinion, above average. The vendor claims that the two built-in HDMIs, digital video and audio signals can be processed with no distortion. The better one is that the two AV home appliances can be connected at the same time. This monitor is also equipped with a Stereo 3W x 2 Multimedia Speaker. With all this features and functionalities, LG M227WD is offered at about £190. To sum up, LG M227WD offers great performance. It's a bit expensive but in my opinion it's still affordable.... Disadvantages: NOT A LEADING NAME IN HARDWARES AND SLOW

...Although LG is not the leading names in both computer hard ware and software production but they have some thing really to offer in this their LG GGW multi blue precisely. The LG drive is capable of copying and reading information's as fast as it can and on the other hand the DVD play back. I got this specifically for writing and duplicating plates. CD writing has been a convenient stuff for me since I got this. I won't emphasize on the drive of being slow because in general, LG drives are slow in their performances but what I will emphasize on is the durability. It has lasted quite long in my household without problems and I like that. The drive needs Microsoft windows XP software recommendations, windows XP home edition and other Microsoft wares. Disadvantages: Provided software is a curse upon your PC, dynamic contrast is rather unsubtle

...sRGB standard if that sort of thing is important to you (or other presets to suit if it isn't). A WORD OF WARNING - do not, under any circumstances, install the provided software. It does nothing that the onscreen buttons can't do, except it also likes to take up 99% of your CPU from time to time. It is absolutely NOT essential as it provides no additional functionality, and having your PC stop responding from time to time is frustrating and pointless. SO, I repeat - DO NOT EVER PUT THE LG CD IN YOUR COMPUTER. Image Quality As mentioned, the resolution is astounding - especially going from a 5:4 ratio on a 17" screen, the 16:10 ratio is liberating.
