I bought this device as a very temporary replacement for much expensive DVD that I have for long time, because it is on repair.

Here is my opinion about it:

Excellent picture/sound quality as in many older hi-end dvd/cd players, reads some lightly damaged DVD disks that previous (much expensive) player didn't, lots of connectivity options for cheep device, very good sound via coaxial audio (as in much expensive cd players)

But....
Small, dimmed, unusable display. Remote control has buttons for controlling TV, but only few models can be controlled by remote. Device is very light, it is impossible to use buttons or insert usb without holding it. Disk tray is very tin-pleas be gentle. Also it reads only finalized CD/DVD. I didn't manage to play some old video CD.
