Advantages It looks nice and feels solid

Disadvantages The camera is not great. it's a bit gimmiky and the touch pad is annoying

Hmm

Some of the main things:
5MP camera
up to 120fps video (in QVGA i think)
up to 4GB on a micro SD card
it looks nice

I'm sure since you're reading, you'll know most of that. So i'll get onto things that you might not be able to get from reading the specs.

The neon touchpad is very sensitive. My fat man-hands keep pushing the directions when i am pushing the centre button. You can get used to it, and if you are assertive with the pushing of the centre button, then it wont do the wrong thing most of the time. but it's very annoying when it does....

The camera is high resolution and is good in well lit conditions. Close-ups and scenery seem to come out well.

In poorly lit conditions it is a different story. Up close (as in up to a few metres, not just in-your-face) the flash drowns everything and all the pictures come out bleached and, well... something you wouldn't want to keep. I haven't tried it at night on some scenery yet so i cannot comment. To turn off the flash there is no 'quick way' (which would be the * key on the SE K800i).
This is all done on the Auto settings. it may be overcome by lots of tedious fiddling with the settings via the touchpad, but i havent tried yet.

Example of the flash

Tigger in low lit conditions, without a flash

Tigger in low light conditions with flash.
The phone was on 'auto flash' at this point, so it chose to put the flash on and take a useless picture! I had to manually turn off the flash to take the first picture. I did not change the lighting in the room between pictures. As you can see, it is over exposed and you can't see any detail. I have yet to take a picture with the flash that doesnt come out like that! You get a Divx converter with it, so you can certainly watch any videos you want on it. handy if you're on the train, but i dont think the battery life is that great.
battery I've been playing with it a fair bit (since it's new!) and it only seems to last a day before it needs charging. You get very little warning between it telling you "low battery" and it dieing, i got about 5 minutes of activity.
Having said that , it does charge up relatively quickly

It looks as good when you hold it as it does in the adverts. It doesnt feel cheap like a lot of slide phones, and it looks like it will last til the next upgrade.
The motion sensor is handy when viewing photos, but the other uses (games only so far) is quite pointless, the games have no lasting appeal.
The screen is touch sensitive In some applications only.
I must say the 'touch media' is nice. you can view photos and play music and games and look at documents with the touch screen. the photo viewer is a little like an iphone... but not nearly as good. it's still nice though.
but that is it for the touch screen. you cant use it for anything else.

Mine came with Opera for Web browsing (installed by t-mobile?). I like Opera on a phone, but in combination with the oversensitive touch pad it becomes irritating.

Thanks for the welcome. The review isn't laid out too well, but I was trying to be objective about the phone. There are some nice features on it, but there were more things that disappointed me and should be better...
