Installed is an Intel T5500 1.66GhzDual-Core CPU with a FSB of 667Mhz. Level 2 cache is 2Mb.
I was a little concerned when going for this as my other PC was 2GhzDual-Core. I must say that I have been very pleasantly surprised.
I have not noticed any significant difference between the two despite the downgrade. The CPU provides a very stable environment and seems to cope with anything you throw at it. The dualcore really comes into its own when running multiple applications.
The big benefit I have found is when running a scheduled virus scan in the background. The dualcore allows the laptop to simply get on with running other applications without slowing them down.
To give it its correct title, the CPU is a "core-2-Duo". This type of CPU is better for anyone wanting to delve...

it has everything, fast, weightless.
i advice people to buy LG p1express 15.4 TFT,
P1 has good Performance for gaming, considering the 512 shared graphics memory, which normally for gaming, graphics design and simulation, the battry stand for 3 hours on silent mode, and 1:30 in cool mode, the fan is very cool normally, compared to toshiba the LG P1 is better.
P1 can run on windows Vista as well, it has 4 star rating on windows vista, i had a desktop computer 3.1 CPU and its rating is 3.1 on Vista.
LG p1 has a fingerprint device that you can use instead of typing your password in MSN messenger, Emails, and windows. just put your finger in the small fingerprint reader....

...This laptop is called the Acer Aspire 5672, it comes with three different sets of specs and it has many extra features. I bought this laptop in the summer of 2006 for about £600 and have found it reliable and quick and I have not really had many problems with it.
