Advantages: Great features eg video camera, voice recorder, nice graphics, fantastic contract! Disadvantages: Bit of a brick, have to recharge it often
...lot less bugs than the LG phone transfer system, and allows you to do all the normal stuff I've just talked about plus transfer games and more. This is my favourite thing about the phone.
It's a nicely designed mobile, very easy to use, packed with special features. A really annoying thing, though, is its battery life. The battery gets run down very quickly if you use the phone for taking pictures, videos etc, playing games or calling, and you have ... ...think I would normally buy a phone this expensive because in my opinion all you really need is to be able to cal and text people! All the rest is just a bonus. But it's fantastic for a free phone, I'm really delighted with it. It's only available with three phones (www.three.com) but I would reccommend that you consider it if you're thinking of getting a new phone. ...

Advantages: Looks good, video calls and camera fits in your pocket Disadvantages: Lack of connectivity
...not a problem witch the LG as for the camera and video record the quality is brilliant considering the size the phone also comes with a built in flash on the outside that can be left on all the time so it can be used as a torch or switched to flash mode so it will flash just when taking pictures or come on when recording video. The camera twists also so you don't have to turn the phone around to get the pictures you want as you have to do with some ... ...straight forward with a built in back button for navigating through the menus and user switch able menus so you can use list's, Icons or my favourite the animated arc style. The screen display is fairly large and average for a phone in its range.
Another thing that does let the phone down though is its battery life when in heavy the battery seams to die within a few hours if your like me and not used to charging your phone every day then this is ...

Advantages: excellent camera/ video camera, easy to use, looks good Disadvantages: unreliable, short battery life
...was first drawn to the LG U8120 because of the fantastic contract 3 Mobile were offering at The Carphone Warehouse. Six months half price line rental, 500 anytime any network minutes and 100 text messages for only £30 a month. A bargain...............I thought.
To be fair to 3, the contract itself is fantastic value for money. In particular I find it difficult to exceed the generous talktime allowance, even as a student without a landline. The handset ... ...deleting old messages!)
The LG U8120 comes complete with 14 different sounds and ringtones, however I have to stress that I was somewhat disappointed with the quality and selection, so it may be worth investing in some new ones. The handset also comes complete with the range of features you would expect from a high-end model: Alarm clock, calculator, currency converter, voice recorder, stopwatch, organiser, internet browser. One feature worth mentioning ...

Advantages: the contract, video messenging Disadvantages: its a brick, never charges well, no signal, got a mind of its own
...both decided to get a LG U8120, we had been told that it was quite a good phone and the contract on 3 for it was great as it had half price line rental for 12 months. It also came with a free headset and univeral phone holder with the charger and the USB Lead and CD to be able to put the things onto the computer. I thought it was great having the latest phone which was really updated compared to most of the other phones. *CAMERA*
It has a rotating ... ...well as your friends. The camera also has a flash and normal, black & white, sepia and night mode effects on it. You can change the size of the picture you take because you may want to take a small one for your phone book. You can also alter the quality, zoom and brightness. you have the ability to take multishots, delay the timer and change the shutter sound.
*VIDEO CALLING*
Also you could video call people, i find that fun when my cousin rings ...

Advantages: Lots Of Free Minutes! Disadvantages: Bit Heavy!
...12 months anyway.
The LG U8120 was next for the trying....
As far as I am aware the LG range of phones is solely manufactured for the 3G network and there tariffs - and damn good tariffs at that!
This little beauty came with a 12 month half price line rental contract - the first 3 months are charged at £15 (half the line rental) the remainder of the months are charged at full price and you have to claim the difference back every 3 months - that’s ... ...and very big!
The LG 8210 is one of the larger size phones on the market at the moment and you could never forget it is in your pocket. A slightly heavy phone in comparison to a lot of other makes out there. It’s a flip phone with an outer caller ID screen (so you can ignore those annoying people you don’t wish to speak with!) and an inner colour screen.
The coloured screen is not the best around (I have the NEC 338 on the same network and tariff ...

Advantages: none that I can see Disadvantages: poor signal, poor customer service, poor phones
...As some of you know I signed up to 3 in september & wasn't overly impressed with the LgU8120 phones both my husband I had.
Well now I am doubly unimpressed with the customer service, the signal & the phone.
All calls except repairs are routed abroad. The limitations on the staff are great & unless you only want to learn your d.o.b or postcode off by heart then I wouldn't bother phoning. Try emailing instead.
Already we have been without service for about 4 days due to calls dropping everytime someone tried to ring. The signal unless you are in a city is abysmal & you have great trouble accessing the internet or even just your 3 account on your phone.
We were told of the end of a trial period of free emailing & video calling before we were told there was free period!!
After 3 months both phones have packed in. Tonight I have spent...

Advantages: Great services, fairly good coverage, range of handsets Disadvantages: Can be pricey.
...-ThreePay-
-About Three-
Three are the newest phone network around at the moment and use the highest technology in phones to run their network. It's called 3G and means 'third generation' which basically means it uses mostly video technology. For example all the entertainment on 3 is video based. This means that you are also able to make video calls so you can see the person you are phoning. You may find the stuff on 3G a little expensive thought but it is worth it.
-Handsets-
Three handsets are available quite cheap now and generally quite nice models. Some of the handsets include the Motorola E1000, LGU8120 and the Motorola C975 (my handset :P) They all include the same simple button that make them unique to 3. It's a key with a triangle on it and it will take you into all the services that Three operate. If you don't want...
