The LG V-KC902HTM is a new type of cyclone vacuume cleaner, a 2000 watt bagless. It is not only bagless but also compresses all dirt and dust into a tank which is very easy to lift out and empty. It is very quiet and smooth running, following along behind you with ease.
It has a good length telescopic pipe which houses all the controls in the handle and goes from the on position, to curtains, sofa, carpet, and floor and of the course the off position. It comes complete with a large turbine head, which speaking from experience, really does get the dirt up, a smaller turbine head which is great for getting into all those hard to reach places, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush and a crevice tool for going round the skirting boards. All of these attachments are very easy to fit, its just a simple one click motion.
When switching from carpet to floor, just push the pedal on the head down and the brushes stop rotating enabling you to go over a tiled/wood/lino floor with ease.
One of the best features of this vacuum cleaner is the very easy method of emptying the tank. There is a small light in the hose handle which comes on when the tank needs emptying, plus you will also get an audio warning. You then just grasp the handle of the tank, press the separation button and dump the contents straight into the dustbin. To reattach, just place the bottom of the tank on the vacuum cleaner and tilt.
The cord is of a good length, I can go from lounge to kitchen without having to unplug and it also has a foot control reel button which automatically rewinds the cord.
As with all cleaners, there are a couple of filters that need cleaning every so often, one is the air filter and the second the exhaust filter. Not complicated to remove and both filters can be washed under the tap but must be washed in cold water and then thoroughly dried.
You can store the cleaner in an upright position by sliding the hook on the nozzle into the slot on the underside of the cleaner.
However, the best feature for me is when I plug the cleaner in and it plays a tune for me, only a couple of notes, but always makes me smile.
