Wow this moniter Is brilliant, I bought It because my previous one "died" so I got this from www.ebuyer.com. With It, I got 2 adapters, one to use and the other as a back up and a CD. At first I thought It won't be that good and that It'll just be famous for the tft and size (20 inches). When I got It , I had to Install the drivers, this was done by the CD that they gave, It had something to do with being able to watch movies and TV shows on It, also on the CD were the Instruction on how to Install them and how to look after the moniter, weird. It was also in many other languages which would be very helpful to other people. The instructions to Install were simple and It gave various other routes to Install them in case one didn't work, which I found very helpful. After Installation I played a movie just to test the screen and I have to say It was very fast and smooth. In addition, It has 6, silver thin (dependant on moniter colour chosen), rectangular buttons towards the bottom right corner just underneath the silver frame of the moniter. The first Is to put the view into a 4:3in wide, which would suit If your playing a game on your pc/laptop. The next Is to go to the "menu", where there are 4 options that lead to different settings. The third Is called the "engine", this sets the mode you would want, so for example If watching a film you would set It to the movie mode or If playing a game you would set It to the gaming mode. Altogether there are about 5 different modes, they are: demo, normal, user, Internet and movie modes, I'd recommend that you leave It on normal because the other types are too high In brightness. The next button Is used to go towards the right side of the menu and just note that the menu key Is used to go towards the Icons on the left side of the menu. Fifth, the last button Is to set the screen resolution. It Is labelled "Auto/set" Once you press the button button It automatically adjusts the image and sets the screen resolution to 1680 x 1050. Finally, this button Is the turn on/off button, when turning It on, the button will have a blue light on for the remainder of time the screen Is on for. It's not too bright but you do get used to It after a while. When you turn It on an image comes up of the LG logo, it then goes blank and then turns too your screen that you should be viewing, this Is all done In the space of a second approximately. When turning It off, If you forget pressing the button It will automatically go Into power saving mode once the computer Is turned off and the blue light will turn Into a light grey type of colour (no were near as bright). This moniter Is very simple to Install and easy to use, It comes with a three year guarantee long as you send of the card with your details on It within 6 months of receiving the moniter. If you get a Image that is mainly black and has partly white parts you'll see how good the colour ratio Is. Well that's all there Is to It and I hope you enjoyed reading this review, just remember that this Is all my personal opinion and Is not copied from any other website with or without their permission.
