Nice laptop, FAB extended warranty!

Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties
Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

Extend your Range

Advantages: Easy to install and use
Disadvantages: no major disadvantages found

Just before Christmas one of my customers rang me up with a problem which he hoped I could solve for him. A couple of months earlier I have installed a wireless network for him. His home office was in an extension to the main house and he had two computers on desks about ten feet apart. The network I installed was very simple, I replaced his existing ADSL modem with a Belkin Wireless G Router/Modem which I connected via CAT5 cable to the network port on his PC - the router/modem sat comfortably on a shelf next to his desk. I set up a Security Key for the network to ensure that no-one within range of the network would be able to access it without authorisation. Advantages: You will eventually get to give the whole of your house a thorough spring clean.
