"LA noire is the new generation of the video gaming"

Detective Cole Phelps

Detective Cole Phelps

Bad guys, Crooks, murderers and a Detective, set in the 1960's, is all you need to create one of the most mind based, technologically advanced video game on the planet, where facial technology is used to implent every feature of the actors face into the characters of the game. That is until the characters start popping out of your TV screen.

Produced by the makers of GTA: San andreas, Rockstar have truly made a game that defies the very nature of thier video games in the fact that you are the good guy this time throwing the bad guys behind bars... Niko Bellic is probably spitting at his own grave.

You play Detective Cole Phelps; a man with a very subtle approach to things and never gets his hands dirty as in he is always a good cop. Each mission consists of a case where you must solve a crime that has been commited and sometimes you end up chasing pyschopathic killers or seize a bank robbery.

The game has this sense of thrill where you really intertwine with the world of this detective and that a burden lays on your shoulder to put this people away from harming the outside world every again. In one mission, you had to follow a trail of blood that led to a series of clues in which you were able to use as evidence of who the killer might be.

Nonetheless, the true unique selling point of this game is the facial technology used. It capture every feature and emotion of the face so that in the game you are able to use this as an advantage to study the criminals you interrogate by telling if they're lying or actually telling the truth.

Unfortunatley, this game does not have online multiplayer but personally I dont really see how that would work so well done rockstar for a structurely sound game.
I definetly recommend this game to gamers who really want to try something new and give your mind a workout due to the fact there is a detective in all of us!
