Laboratoires Garnier have done it for me this time! This 'Clean Feel' facial wash really works.
I decided to try this new product for a couple of reasons. First, I had a 75p off voucher for any Garnier cleanser so I was going to the shelf anyway. Also Safeway had an offer of one-third off the line which was an unexpected bonus. The cost for the 150 ml tube was £2.86 less 75p and so, as my mum would say, 'That's good shopping!' ...secret for success is in 'pure fruit waters' made up of the not very mysterious or exotic grape and apple. This is a gel wash which, when mixed with a bit of water, forms a rich soap free foamy lather. It feels lovely and soft and I wanted to massage it in immediately. The light, clean and fruity scent is nice too.

The light, clean and fruity scent is nice too.

My pores were tighter and my skin looked - and felt - properly cleansed. having learned from my skin care mistakes in the past, this time careful label reading paid off and I made sure to get the type for Normal to Combination Skin. There's also cream version for dry skin which I imagine but can't verify as having the same features (e.g. fruit waters).
Having tried this, I'd buy it again even without the special offer and/or voucher.
Looking at my previous passions for all things lush, you are probably thinking “what is he doing, he’s now reviewing something…unnatural”. I first tried this product a few months ago, as I needed a good cleansing type thing for my face and lush was not nearby. I plumped for this as it’s by a reputable manufacturer (Garnier) and is supposed to be “dermatologically tested”; that’s what they always say, I thought. I’m sure Freddy Kruger got told this ... ...“hair gel” type bottle and you get a fair 150ml of goop…all for around 3 of your Earth pounds. This represents fair value for money as it seems to go a long way and you use very little.
The first thing you notice is the smell, which is heavily evocative of Fructis, and is quite a pleasant if artificial smell. It is quite heavy on the banana/mango fragrance, but I quite like it.

...all things new bought Laboratoire Garnier Synergie Fresh Clean Feel Gel Wash. In almost the words of a well known advert - it does exactly what it says on the tube.
I bought mine in Sainsbury's and have since seen it in Boots too, from the promotional blurb that accompanied it i gather it is is still new on the market. The vouvher was accompanied by a handy questionnaire to discover your skin type and ideal product. Me being me did the questionnaire ... ...before discount for 150 mls and if my guess is right, a little goes a long way so it should last a while.The packaging is practical and does indeed suggest freshness with its springlike light green. It is suggested for use on Normal to Combination skin which I am led to believe means skin that is prone to oiliness and dryness in patches.
A small blob lathers up really well on a wet face and the smell is citrus, although it claims to be influenced ...
