Garnier Ultra Lift Eye Cream

I've always been a little paranoid about the skin around my eyes, as when I'm tired or rundown, this is the first place it shows! I'd noticed some fine lines popping up and decided to blitz them! Off I went to Boots so see what I could find and I came home with Garnier Skin Naturals Ultra Lift Eye Cream. It cost me £7.99 at the time for a 15ml tube, but at the moment it's on offer at £6.78.

Looks: The box is white with a picture of the red tube on the front, which is the actual size of the tube inside. It has the usual round leaf design at the top with Garnier Synergie written in bold silver writing and Lift written undeneath in red, then under that it says Daily Firming eye cream, vitamin A and revitalising agents, anti-wrinkle and dermatologically tested at the bottom. The tube itself is red and has Garnier Skin Naturals written in silver at the top with the same leaf design as the box, then UltraLift, then anti-wrinkle eye cream and dermatologically tested at the bottom. The tube is very slim and has a pointed white lid to match the nozzle you dispense the cream from. The cream is white and has a light texture and doesn't really have a smell to it.

How do you use it?; After cleansing , toning and moisturising, I squeeze a tiny amount of this onto my ring finger, rub it against my other ring finger to warm it up and then apply it to the skin under and around my eyes in light, tapping movements.

Does it work?; Definitely!! The spiel says: Synergie Lift Eye gives visible results after just 8 days,it smoothes the skin around the eye contour area, it visibly softens wrinkles and fine lines, it firms the skin, it recharges the natural cellular regeneration mechanism to effectively reduce the appearance of new lines and wrinkles. That is exactly what is does! Any fine lines that were starting to appear are long gone! And the eye area is much smoother and softer. This stuff is fab! It's also ophthalmologically tested and fragrance free so it's suitable for sensitive eyes.

Conclusion: This a truly fantastic product that I would reccommend to anyone that needed a decent anti-ageing eye cream. A 15ml tube has lasted me for 2 months so far and it's still quite full, so for something that lasts for ages, the initial outlay doesn't seem so bad!
