L'Occitane Grape Anti-Water Retention Gel

Advantages: Lovely L'Occitane scents, long lasting, refreshing, soothing, and doesn't dry out
Disadvantages: none really, (unless you feel £3.50 a bar is too much)

...You can buy these L'Occitane products on many websites e.g. www.miam-miam.co.uk - and on the high street (although I'm in London where there is a L'Occitane shop and John Lewis). We came across L'Occitane products recently in a hotel we stayed in on our holiday in USA. In the hotel we had quite a few products from shower gel to hand cream, but I loved the L'Occitane soaps. They have shea butter in them and just feel lovely to use. L'Occitane make a load of different scented soaps, I have tried chestnut, verbena and cinnamon orange (i think!). L'Occitane verbena is my favourite, a sort of lime/flower scent, really really nice! An invigorating, fresh clean smell, ideal for the morning or a soak before you go out for the evening. ...As you may have noticed from my reviews, I like my bath products! At the moment I have several different products on the go - soaps, shower gels, scrubs, and I noticed that everything I'm using at the moment is quite highly fragranced. Whilst sometimes this is fine, sometimes I find that the scents of my shower gel, body lotion or perfume will clash, or other times I just want something a bit more subtle. Wanting to use my new cherry blossom perfume, which is quite a subtle fragrance, I looked through my array of bath and shower gels for something that would be gentle enough not to overpower it. The most suitable, it seemed was my L'Occitane Shea Butter Shower Cream, which I had bought as part of a set from QVC. L'Occitance is a well-established French company, based in Provence. Their product ranges cover most toiletries and home fragrances, using the highest quality natural ingredients. THE PRODUCT: L'Occitane shea butter liquid soap comes in several fragrance variations: SWEET ALMOND - this reminds me of almond slices and is almost good enough to eat (but not advised!): HONEYSUCKLE - very sweet smelling, very rich and quite girly - my husband didn't like this one; VERBENA - a lovely fresh citrus/lemony scent; LAVENDER- very clean, fresh & light - not too sweet like some of the more artificial lavender smells.
