Advantages: Moisturises and brightens the skin; lovely natural scent. A little goes a long way. Disadvantages: Very expensive
This is another great product from L'Occitane en Provence. Crammed full of Corsican Immortelle flower essential oil, this cream is perfect to brighten, firm and moisturise the skin in the morning. It isn't too heavy and will suit most skin types, is absorbed easily and i've found it makes a great base for make up. It moisturises my skin well (and i've got very dry skin!) and lives up to its anti wrinkle claims; in my opinion it's the best cream on the market. It smells just wonderful, and i know this will sound odd, but it smells exactly as you would expect it to; light and natural, with no nasty chemical scent.
It's only drawback is the price tag, which at a whopping £45.00 is out of most peoples' price range. However, if you can your nearest and dearest to buy you a pot for Christmas or birthday you wont regret it; i have one that i ...
Advantages: A saviour for dry, irritated or ageing skin Disadvantages: high cost
The L'OccitaneCream Mask contains pure immortelle essential oil from the everlasting flower, coconut, rosemary, vitamins A and E and rice peptides. The pure white cream is incredibly thick and feels like applying heavily whipped cream from the fridge, it smells very pure and clean and instantly feels very cooling once applied. It recommends to apply a thick layer for 5 to 10 minutes but it can also be applied lightly for an overnight treatment. This really plumps skin out and makes your face feel really refreshed, cooled, nourished and rested. My skin is very sensitive and usually reacts to masks but this is just soothing and I even use it daily. The price tag is eye watering almost coming to £40 but I will continue to buy this until if/when i find something better. ...
Advantages: Smells wonderful; leaves hands very soft Disadvantages: Price, lid could be better
on the toothpase then the packaging of this may not be the best for you. It's a bit like a toothpaste tube and has a screw-off lid about the size of a penny. I don't personally find this a problem because with the texture of the cream you can squeeze out a blob onto your hand and it stays put while you put the lid back on.
PRICE
The 75ml tube has a rrp of £10.50.
I bought mine for £10.00 at Debenhams but you can get it cheaper if you shop around or buy a twin pack from QVC.
It's also available mail order directly from L'Occitane (http://uk.loccitane.com).
A comment on availability is that you might not get hold of it al year round because L'Occitane cycle their products according to harvests, so that you are getting a very fresh product. I always keep a spare tube in so have not found this a problem as it lasts so long!
I am not really ...
