Advantages: Soothes sore, dry skin on hands very well, and smells nice Disadvantages: Very expensive, can be a little heavy for some people
This is a particularly rich hand cream that i'd recomend to anyone who suffers from dry skin. It is a little heavy, and doesn't soak into the skin straightaway, but for those with very dry skin conditions, this isn't a problem, and i've found that it soothes tight, sore skin extremely well. It's rich enought to use elsewhere on the body; particularly the knees, heels and elbows. It smells nice, not too perfumed, and the packaging is reminiscent of days gone by. The tube itself is quite maleable, making it relatively easy to get the last few squirts of the cream out. The Sheabutter content is around 20%, and also boasts fruit, leaf and honey extracts.
A lovely product that does the job and looks great in the bathroom; my only gripe is that it is pretty expensive at around £16.50 for a large tube (150ml), but you can buy a smaller ...
Advantages: Really works well Disadvantages: It is expensive
I have been using L`occitane products for a while now, basically they are beauty products, they sell foot cream, shaving cream, bubble bath, soap and much much more, there stuff is really good. the one bad point though is that they are really expensive, (I get a discount as my sister in law is a mangeress in one off their stores.)
She tends to buy the family birthday or christmas presents from her store, recently she got me Sheabutter foot cream as I am always complaining about my sore feet. Sorry I am not sure off the price as it was a gift.
Description
The cream comes in a silver 150ml tube which in turn comes in a brown box and it has the L`Ooccitane logo on , the lid is a screw on one and is navy blue in colour. There is a slight smell from this cream but it is`nt strong and it is nice.

Advantages: works very well on dry skin Disadvantages: expensive for the amount you receive
I visited two L'Occitane websites, both the www.loccitane.com site and the www.miam-miam.co.uk site (both similar, postage is cheaper on the miam miam one). I bought a large tub of pure sheabutter hand cream which arrived within a couple of days. I suffer from dry skin, and use various creams on and off depending on what I fancy at the time!
The sheabutter is very easy to apply, I would say that it would be in my top 3 moisturisers in terms of quality but it's a pricey choice for regular use. It contains sheabutter, honey and coconut oil, and has a lovely fresh scent and seems to melt away nicely when rubbing into your hands. It comes in a 150ml tube for £13.50
Loccitane also have other products made from sheabutter - has anyone tried the lip balms? They sound good, but you only get a very small tin for about £5. Its also ...
Formulations for all skin types (cream, gel and lotion), smoother skin that feels toned after a couple of applications, matching serum top-up for extra dry skin, one jar lasts for ages and smells fresh, clean and gorgeous.
Prohibitively expensive for a straight-up, non anti-ageing facial moisturiser. Lightly perfumed and non-hypoallergenic - unsuitable for sensitive skin. (*)
