I have been using this product for so long now that i can not remember how long, at least 2 or 3 years. It is the only one i use, although i have tried others on occasion to be able to compare, this really is the (my) best., it is the only one i use or care to use.
I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes; irritable during the 'high hayfever' months and dry at the corners and under the brow area during the winter months, but this does not add any further irritation.It is soothing and refreshing to the eye area, and requires no scrubbing or over wiping, i simply moisten two cotton pads, hold and gently pat on the eye area, for about 10 seconds. I then turn the pads over for a fresh side, hold and pat again for 10 seconds and then gently wipe away any remaining eye make-up.
Just to recap, I wear contact lenses, have sensitive eye's and tend to wear dark (browns) make-up and eyeliner, this product removers all traces and doe's not create any further eye problems. However, obviously i remove my make up at night after i have taken out my lenses and i do not use waterproof make-up mascara so i can not comment on this (although i do use the 'very black' mascaras) !
The bottle has a very tight fittng flip cap (watch your nails girls!) the tight fitting means that if the bottle is knowed over or put in a bag for travelling, it will not leak (unless you forget to shut the cap!) Once open there is a small hole for using the product which means you have a lot of control over how much you want to use, no risk of wasteage.
