'But does it do what it says on the tin?!':
I would recommend this product simply because it does tend to get your lips noticed, and if you're anything like me, when you've made an effort on a night out, it's nice when people comment. It also does live up to its name in that it does make you feel ... ...all for falling for that advert!). I wouldn't say this is a gloss for everyday use (although, I am so taken with the colour I do tend to use it most days!), but it's brilliant for a sparkly, girly night out on the town.
Glam Shine retails for £6.99 at Boots, but I've found a number of beauty websites that sell it a bit cheaper, so it might pay to shop around. However the online stores don't always offer the full range of colours (how ... more
'Because you're worth it!':
I went out and bought this product as soon as I first saw it advertised (yes, I know, 'Sucker'!) as it looked so, well, 'glam'! Admittedly, I am a bit of a lip-gloss freak! I'm never without my gloss or tub of Vasaline Lip Therapy. In fact I tend to break out into a bit of a panic if i can't find either in a hurry. This happened at work a few days ago, and it took several minutes, and a few deep breathes to compose myself again! Don't worry, my boss is quite used to my little 'traumas'! Anyway, I digress. . .!
'Colours and Effect':
This lip gloss comes in a range of colours and is described as 'holographic' (i.e I think they mean shimmery!). I have tried in vain to find an up-to-date colour list (and I promise I will come back and update this should I find one!), but my personal favourite colour is 'Moon Crystal', a mid-pink colour that compliments my fair skin tone. To be honest it is the colour that keeps me coming back to this product again and again. It's simply lovely! That and the eyecatching sparkle! The claim on the tube is that it has a 'Dazzling, Glamorous, Lip-Pumping Effect'. When I first started using this product, all my friends commented on the shine and asked what I was using these days! It definitely gets noticed on nights out as it makes my lips look much fuller, but the 'sparkly' bits are also light-reflecting so I guess it draws attention to your mouth in the right light! I must say, in my experience, men do seem to like the effect! I've had a number of compliments about it in the time I've been wearing it out! Although a word of warning that should you be lucky enough to get close to a male admirer, it does transfer pretty easily! I seem to spend much of my time out with my current 'squeeze' (!!) wiping his mouth like I'm his mother or something! Having said that, he doesn't seem to object too much, but then I'm not sure what that says about him (or me)! I definitely need to find him a better shade though - mine just doesn't look quite right on him!
'Smell and Taste':
Smell and taste wise, I find this product ok. The smell is pleasant enough and certainly not too strong, but the taste on your lips is a bit 'petroleum jelly-like' (I'm not sure how helpful a description that is, but you probably get the idea that it's not especially pleasant and at best a bit bland). I think this would be a much nicer product to use if they'd made it slightly 'fruity' flavoured. At the moment, it just lacks 'something'. The thick consistency means it feels quite rich on your lips, so some sort of flavour would be a nice compliment to this.
'Downsides':
To be honest, there are probably a few more cons than pros where this product is concerned. The consistency is pretty thick and it can get gooey as you near the bottom of the tube. I also find it tends to collect in the creases at the corners of my mouth as my lips become dry. The answer to this is to reapply regularly, but unfortunately this means using more product, and well frankly, the tube just isn't quite generous enough. It comes in a 6ml tube (which translates as about 2.5 inches tall and about 0.5 inches wide!), which is probably about average for a lipgloss, but unfortunately the design of the applicator wand means you can't ever get at the last of the product and I find myself replacing this gloss pretty regularly. On average it probably lasts me 1.5-2 months, using several times daily. Not that bad I suppose, but frustrating when you know there's about another week's worth of product stuck in the container that you can't get at! This would be my major complaint.
'But then that's lip glosses, isn't it?':
Overall I don't want to be too hard on this product. My experience of lip glosses generally are that they tend to be a bit gooey and sticky anyway. I'm also sure the problem with getting at the last bits in the tube are pretty common too. But it wouldn't have hurt L'Oreal to put a bit more thought into these areas, even if only to get ahead of the competition.

I would recommend this product simply because it does tend to get your lips noticed, and if you're anything like me, when you've made an effort on a night out, it's nice when people comment. It also does live up to its name in that it does make you feel pretty glam (so perhaps I wasn't such a 'sucker' after all for falling for that advert!).
However the online stores don't always offer the full range of colours (how ever many there might now be in the range!). It's not the cheapest lip gloss on the market, but then neither is it the most expensive, so if you can find a colour to suit then I'd definitely recommend giving this a go.
One of the first cosmetics items I bought in my early teens was a L’Oreal lip gloss called ‘Rouge Pulp.’ It was a subtle rose shade with a soft metallic sheen; a stunning shade which I loved at the time. However, there was one major drawback which put me off L’Oreal lip products right up until this year when I bought Glam Shine. Immediately after applying it I realised why I had avoided L’Oreal for SO long – and I shall explain why in due course. ... ...am constantly on a mission for the perfect lip enhancement, and being a newbie on the market this little gem grabbed my attention with its promises of a ‘dazzling glamorous lip-plumping effect.’ Glam Shine comes in several different colours: • Silver Crystal • Moon Crystal • Clear Crystal • Pure Chrome • Volcano Chrome • Sand Crystal • Carmin Crystal • Mercury Crystal • Opaline Crystal • Virtual Chrome They range from pale beiges and clear whites ...

...does glisten. L'Oreal call the appearance of this gloss their "Advanced crystal shine Technology", well whatever that means, it looks pretty cool. Rather than having specks of glitter in the gloss, it has an all over shine to it, I think I could best describe it to you like the appearance of ice - no actual glitter, but it shimmers. The consistency
Well, this was L'Oreal's first Boo Boo as far as I was concerned. Once I had applied the gloss, my ... ...something thick and gooey on my lips.
The gloss itself is very thick.
So how long does this fab look last?
Basically.... until you've started your first drink. To be honest with you, I found it quite embarrassing looking at my glass half way through my drink, the whole rim of it was plastered in thick slimy gloss, and after picking my drink up a few times, the slime had transferred onto my fingers too, and I felt like a sticky mess!
Although ...

Advantages: nice colours, does what it says Disadvantages: staying power not good
...past.
THE PACKAGING:
L'oreal glam shine comes in a 6ml bottle which tapers at the top, it is a clear bottle allowing you to see the colour of the lip gloss inside, I purchased the mercury crystal which is a plummy pink colour. The screw top on the bottle is a dull gold colour and is about the same length as the bottle and contains the applicator. The actual writing on the bottle is not very clear as it is written in gold against the background ... ...the colour you buy as to how clearly you can read what is written on the bottle. Basically it states the name of the product "L'oreal Paris, Glam shine, Dazzling, glamourous lip plumping effect".
THE PRODUCT:
Glam shine gives a high shine finish which keeps your lips moisturised especially in these wintry conditions and has a distinctive fruity fragrance which seems to appeal to the male of the species!! so for kissability I would rate 10/10 staying ...

Advantages: V. glittery, lasts longer than most lip glosses, intense colours Disadvantages: none
L’Oreal glam shine, a product brought out this year recently by L’Oreal, a well renowned commercial cosmetics brand, is a high-shine lip-gloss with overwhelming sparkle and pretty full-on colour. It comes in a quite expensive looking container, which contains a mere 6ml of the lip gloss, so it has been treated with the delicacy of precious stones. The packaging states that this is a “dazzling, lip plumping effect lip gloss”, and dazzling it most ... ...at the packaging, which shows the colour of the lip gloss as well as the glitter inside the container. I got this from Boots the chemist, and used my hard-earned points from my Christmas shopping spree to pay the slightly begrudged £5.99. I did think this was a little expensive for such a small amount, but a friend of mine recommended it as it’s so glittery you almost have to wear shades when you look in the mirror! The applicator is typical of most ...

Advantages: Lasts well, nice colours, cheap, no stickiness, application is easy Disadvantages: Small container
L’Oreal Glam Shine was my little treat at the weekend, well that and 5 other make up items. I’m on a budget at the moment, me and my bloke have just got our own house, so every spare penny is going into that, but I can’t live without my make up, and I find myself buying something new at least once a week, that and clothes are probably my biggest downfalls.
Anyway.
I have bought many L’Oreal products in the past, including ... ...been a big fan, until I tried this!
L’Oreal Glam shine promises the user ‘a dazzling glamorous lip-plumping effect’. The tube the lip gloss comes in is quite small; I thought I’d picked up a tester when I first saw it. It’s 8cms tall and contains 6ml of product. As with all L’Oreal products the tube looks quite sophisticated and up market. The lower half of the tube is transparent with the product name emblazoned ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "L'Oreal Glam Shine Lip Gloss"
Advantages: One for the younger lips. Disadvantages: It has too much shimmer for mature skin.
I have a lot of L'Oreal cosmetics lurking in my drawer, some have been well used and others were an impulse buy that backfired.
The L'OrealGlamShine Diamant lip gloss was one of those that fell into the second category ? not because the product is inferior in any way but I think it is definitely a cosmetic that is aimed at the younger end of the market.
The bottle is lovely, it is chic and elegant and the contents look very tantalising, the small glass bottle has a long silvery coloured cap which holds the wand.
Now when I first looked at the L'Oreal Diamant lip gloss it didn't look too sparkly, maybe the light in the chemists was masking the actual amount of `sparkle` that was inside of the bottle.
I just thought that I would like to try something different and ended up buying the Diamant lip gloss in a shade ...
Advantages: very glittery Disadvantages: not very glossy, doesn't last long
L'orealglamshinelipgloss is a great shimmery lipgloss. Like other L'Oreal products it is high standard and it is a very popular brand.
L'oreal is the worlds largest cosmetics and beauty company and is headquartered in the suburbs of Paris. It was founded in 1909. Millions of people purchase the brand whether it is make-up or colouring for hair. The brand is advertised everywhere and there is always a new product being released.
They sell goods of: skincare, hair colour, styling products, cosmetics and there quite new range men expert. They have recently brought out a new and improved glamshine with a new bottle and upto 5 hours of luscious lips. There glamshinelipgloss comes in 2 different types of shades which are crystals and natural glow. The crystal lip-glosses are more dazzling effect and designed as a going ...
Advantages: Nice colours, good price and easy application Disadvantages: I cannot fault the product
I love lipgloss, I normally wear Vaseline but with all the bad weather and dry lips I like to put a bit of colour to my pale face and I have found L?Orealglamshine 6h does the trick especially the oriental fuchsia colour that I am reviewing now.
I got this particular lip gloss for Christmas and I have to say what a brilliant present it was. To get my next fix I will probably purchase from Boots or Superdrug for around £7.00, which I don?t think, is too expensive for a lip gloss especially as they do last quite a while.
You recognise this lip gloss because it stands with an hourglass figure and a round shiny silver lid with a clear oblong casing. The main bottle is clear with just the lip gloss colour to shine through and give you a good idea of what your applying to your lips. The 204 oriental fuchsia is a dark red with glitter ...
