With so many foundations on the market I know it's hard to choose one, so when I first started wearing it I tried a few. I found I preferred liquid foundations but finding one close to my natural skintone very difficult, and I know I'm not the only one! I'm naturally porcelain white and I needed something inbetween white facepaint and the normal rosey skin colour of most foundations. My prayers were answered by L'oreal whose great product, Infallible, has a wide enough range of colours to suit all types of skin colour.
I use the lightest one and for a long time used their previous similarly bottled foundation but found the lightest infallible shade an even better match to my own skintone.
The product comes in a little clear glass pump action bottle with a plastic lid (something I am always breaking or losing). Whether applying sparingly or generously daily, I find one little bottle will last me months before I have to buy another - a very good thing as it costs around £10 each time. Worth every penny though!
I apply it with my fingers to the whole of my face and it covers all imperfections - uneven skintone, spots, blemishes and (a big one for me) dark circles under the eyes. (yeah yeah I should get more sleep!) It makes me look a lot more softer, smoother and less tired for one which is brilliant. The colour matches to my skin incredibly well and I tend to wear this along with a bit of mascara and that's it.
It doesn't tend to clog up pores and give you spots, and it will keep you looking good all day. It does help to reapply a little in the evening though if you've had it on all day and are going out. Remember to remove it with a makeup wipe before going to bed every night, I haven't many times and it doesn't really do anything but it will minutely block your pores and over time give you the odd microscopic blackhead. Other than that it isn't incredibly tragic if you fall asleep with it still on.
This stuff can be messy - if you don't always wipe the pump clean after use or replace the lid (I find I lose the lids and/or break them) you might end up with the rest of your makeup bag/box with foundation smeared on it. So I make sure I either replace the lid or wipe the pump of excess before chucking it back in with the rest of my box of tricks.
All in all I find this is the BEST liquid foundation you can buy, and compared to some others on the market at the moment it is fairly well priced. A good brand and foundation isn't really where you want to skimp on your money. I recommended this product to my best friend who for years only wore powder, and now she's been using this almost as many years as myself.

Advantages: This is the best foundation I have ever used, it stay's put and covers blemishes! Disadvantages: Pricey and the pump doesn't get the last bits of the product out.
Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long
