My grandchildren always kick up a fuss when it's time to have their hair washed and it can be quite a stressful time so we went to the supermarket together to choose shampoo. They liked the look of this bottle seeing as it's bright pink and they thought the lid looked a bit like a hat which they thought was funny!

This shampoo is supposed to be very gentle so that it won't sting children's eyes like other brands but it is supposed to be just as effective at washing and detangling hair.

The bright pink bottle definitely appeals to children and the smell of it is of strawberries which is lovely, very sweet and a bit artificial smelling but my grandchildren really like it and always announce "Strawberries!" so it's a very recognisable smell.

When using this I use quite a lot as it doesn't lather up a lot and it is easy to rinse off even with an unhappy toddler! It still causes a few unhappy moans and complaints when any of it gets in the eyes but it's not full on screaming so it is more gentle than other brands are.

It does wash their hair well it looks nice and clean and shiny afterwards which is very important and the point of shampoo really! The smell of strawberries lingers a bit too which the grandchildren like. It does help to take knots out too I don't have to spend as long brushing their hair afterwards.

When I have used this on myself i Haven't found it very effective, it does clean my hair but it doesn't feel as clean as with other brands and so I think it's best for people/children who have fine hair.

There are other flavours as well that you can buy so they are different colours, this appeals mainly to girls as it's pink but the other colours are more unisex or appealing to boys.

Definitely recommend it as it makes bath time less stressful!
