I think that L'Oreal are onto a real winner with this brand of haircare made specially for children.
I had been using Johnson's shampoo with the no more tears formula on Charlotte's hair. I used this mainly because of the no more tears formula - it stopped all those tears at bathtime. To be honest the condition of charlotte's hair left a lot to be desired. It was very 'luggy' and once dry felt sticky.
Then L'Oreal brought out this new range, so I thought I'd give it a go.
There are shampoos which come in a range for different hair types:
Tropical Punch for extra manageability (just what you need on a child who screams blue murder when you get the brush out!)
They smell heavenly and to be honest I don't think it matters what type you use. Charlotte had great fun smelling them all and picking her favourite!
There is also a separate conditioner but to be honest I haven't used it, because it is hard enough to swill shampoo off without going through the rigmarole of conditioner as well.
So I started using this shampoo on Charlotte's hair and the condition of it has improved greatly. It is less tangled - not only when first wet but the next day also.
She is also getting to trust the 'no more tears' deal. After showing her the boy, whose face is covered in suds on the TV advert, she is beginning to realise that the shampoo is not going to sting her eyes. (unlike Johnsons Baby Soap of which she wiped her eyes with a sponge full of the stuff - but that's another horror story!)
The bottle is well designed for little hands as well as big and as before the smell is just heavenly - which helps. Charlotte couldn't wait to have her hair washed, just so she could smell it!
You don't need to use a lot, which is good because the shampoo costs £1.95 a bottle. It also rinses off cleanly leaving no residue.
Johnsons have really been left behind in the shampoo stakes and I plan to use this on Ciaran - just as soon as he has some hair worth shampooing!
Brilliant L'Oreal - Im glad you think my little princess is worth it!
Kids - don't you just love em!

We love L'Oreal kids too! I use it on Rebecca & Me - she likes most of them, but her fave is the strawberry one, and I love the burst of watermelon one! The grape conditioner is yummy too! :-)
