I tried L'Oreal Nutrisummer for the first time last summer after realising I just couldn't face getting my pastey pins out in the sun!
I brought it from Boots for £7.92. Prices vary depending on where you shop but is usually between £6 - £7. A 'tone up' bottle of Nutrisummer is also available - it is the same as Nutrisummer but contains caffeine which is meant to tone the skin and reduce the apperance of cellulite. A tone up botte typically costs between £7 - £8.
It comes in different shades - one for fair skin and one for darker skin.
It comes in an attractive looking bottle, which is easy to read and understand. The lid is at the bottom so you don't have to spend time shaking it out when you get to the end.
The first time I used it, I applied it with my bare hands and it took about 10-15 minutes to cover my whole body properly. It did however take about an hour and a half to dry, which was very annoying as I just found myself having to perch on the side of a chair for an hour and a half in my underwear!
Also, make sure you wash your hands with soap and water straight after you've applied it, otherwise you will end up with orange hands. Pure horror story!
On the bottle it says it builds up a natural looking, sun-kissed tan but after the first time of using it, I got an overnight tan! This was a complete suprise.
Unlike other tanning products I've used L'Oreal Nutrisummer gave me a tanned glow, rather than orange blobs and I was really pleased with the results. Everybody noticed it too - they were commenting me, asking if I had been sunbathing or on holiday! When I told them it was a fake tan they couldn't believe it and told me how natural it looked.
When I took a soak in the bath the tan still stayed on but when I dried myself with a white towel, to my horror I noticed I was rubbing my tan off onto it! You will have more chance of keeping your tan if you dab yourself dry, rather than rub yourself dry. Although this can take slightly longer and is a little annoying if you're in a rush...
Not only is L'Oreal Nutrisummer a tanner but it's a moisteriser too and it worked really well. My legs in particularly felt really smooth, soft and silky.
I used the tone up version of Nutrisummer as I'd not long before given birth and felt really frumpy. I am a bit of a pessimist when it comes to cellulite and general weight loss products but I was pleasently suprised. It was no miracle cure but I deffinatley felt a little more toned - particularly on my thighs.
I'd recommend this to anybody that is looking for a natural glow but only if you have the time to sit around and wait for it to dry. I rate it 5 stars but minus one star for the drying time.
