***ABOUT L'OREAL*** L'Oreal make a huge range of cosmetics and beauty products not only for woman but for men as well. They are forever bringing out new products with new ideas. You can buy their products from many places such as Supermarkets, Boot and Superdrug. Although their products are very good quality they don't cost as much as some cosmetics do.
***COLOR APPEAL TRIO PRO*** This make up is a set of 3 different eye-shadow colours in 1 small black pallette which also includes 2 foam eye applicators as well, one of which has slightly thinner sponge than the other for more precise application. These set's are made for certain coloured eye's which are meant to bring out the eye colour more, when using this product. The eye-shadows are avaliable for Blue, Hazel, Green eyes and Dark eyes. Depending on which coloured eyes you have will depend on the coloured eye-shadows.
I am reviewing the Beige Taupe colours which are best suited for blue eyes. On the back on the palette it shows you and tells you which shadows to apply first and where, using the applicators provided. In this set you get a grey colour, beige/light colour and a copper colour as well.
***AVALIABILITY*** This is avliable from Boots and Superdrug and will cost approx £6.30, which does sound expensive but it is a great product which I would definately buy again when I run out of it. (And don't forget you can collect points if you have a boots advantage card!).
***USING THE PRODUCT*** I simply looked on the back of the pallette and followed the instructions. I was to apply the first colour which was labelled 1 and was the grey/brown colour to the base of the lashes. I used the thinner applicator for this for a more precise application. This was quite easy to apply but I went over a few times so you could actually see the colour just below my lash line. I next applied number 2 which was the beige colour to my eye-lid using the bigger sponge applicator. Finally I used number 3 which was the copper colour t the arch. This colour is more of a highlighter then a noticable colour.
The eye-shadow's were simple and easy to use and as I stood back i wasn't too sure at first about the way it looked. I did notice how-ever it definately bought the colour in my eye's out more and they definately made them look more blue than they do with the normal coloured eye-shadow I normally use. I decided to keep the make up on and go out. Whe-ever I checked my make-up through-out the night I actually really began to like the colours of the eye-shadows and I loved the look the high-lighter gave to my arch as well. I didn't need to re-apply any of the make up throughout the night and it stayed on all night until I was ready to take it off, which comes off easily use a baby wipe or facial wipe.
***OVERALL OPINION*** This was the best eye-shadow I have used in a long time and it's one I will continue to use for a while now. It definately brings out the colour in my eyes and what's best is the make up lasts which means there is no need to re-apply it thoughout the evening. It is very simple and easy to apply espicially with the diagrams and instructions on the back on the pallette.
