Advantages: Easily lifts brassy or yellow tones.
Disadvantages: Chemical smell & too much use will discolour hair.

I occasionally use this product to keep my hair from looking brassy or yellow. It works very well to keep your hair light, but as a result I find that I can only use this product around once or twice a month tops, otherwise my hair will take on a grey or purple tint. You do have to be quite careful when using this product, as the purple colour of the shampoo is so strong that if you don't rinse down your bath or shower immediately it will stain. The bottle is quite small, but since you need to use so little product to get an immediate result you can get a lot of use out of it. It smells very chemically, but the smell doesn't tend to linger after rinsing so you don't really notice. I would reccomend this shampoo to anyone with blonde or lighter hair. ...

L'OREAL KIDS SWIM & SPORT SHAMPOO

L'OREAL KIDS SWIM & SPORT SUNNY ORANGE SHAMPOO. This is a marvellous shampoo with its funky style bottle and so trendy with bright orange top and the remainder blue with a touch of green, so smart and eye-catching. It certainly has the appeal to any youngster. The bottle is also easy to hold and soft and so ideal even for small hands. I remember that I used to use this product for my own children and I recall then that I was very satisfied then and I am sure that they would have improved the shampoo since then and increased the range of shampoos and fragrances. To use just apply a small amount to ones hand and work up a lather it is so gentle to feel and smells so clean and fresh and yes one can smell a touch of oranges too. This is so ideal for kids which are on the go they will find it is so gentle and leaves the hair smelling ...

An average shampoo from L'Oreal

Advantages: smells nice, leaves hair soft
Disadvantages: doesn't live up to Anti-Breakage claims

I subject my hair to all sorts of things that are bad for it, such of excessive use of heated appliances and styling products, and it is looking all the worse for it. When it comes to shampoo I am not completely bothered which brand I use, and usually just buy whichever one is on special offer. This was the case when I bought L'Oreal Elvive Anti-breakage shampoo. ~About the Shampoo~ This shampoo claims to help repair the hair on the inside and nourish on the outside. There is a lot of spiel and scientific stuff on the back of the bottle, backed up with diagrams. It basically claims that because it contains special ingredients - Omega 6 and Ceramide R, that after using it, you will have up to 95% less breakage from brushing.
