detangle your hair and leave it soft and protected. You don’t have to keep looking for an intense moisturising range any more. This range is great on all damaged and dry hair, even if your hair is fine. It is lightweight and will not weigh your hair down, all while providing intense moisturising. The latest technology allows this range to return moisture levels to hair that has chemical or mechanical damage. This includes coloured hair, and hair that is damaged by excessive heat styling without adequate protection. Directions of Use: Apply a small amount to your shampooed hair Leave in your hair for 2 minutes Rinse thoroughly
Advantages: Easily lifts brassy or yellow tones. Disadvantages: Chemical smell & too much use will discolour hair.
I occasionally use this product to keep my hair from looking brassy or yellow. It works very well to keep your hair light, but as a result I find that I can only use this product around once or twice a month tops, otherwise my hair will take on a grey or purple tint. You do have to be quite careful when using this product, as the purple colour of the shampoo is so strong that if you don't rinse down your bath or shower immediately it will stain. The bottle is quite small, but since you need to use so little product to get an immediate result you can get a lot of use out of it. It smells very chemically, but the smell doesn't tend to linger after rinsing so you don't really notice. I would reccomend this shampoo to anyone with blonde or lighter hair. ...
Advantages: First part was easy to do with good results Disadvantages: Not easy to do decent streaks on your own
I'm getting on a bit now & my hair would no doubt be grey if I left it alone (perish the thought!!) I started colouring it in the 60's when I was a teenage mod. Over the years, I've used allsorts - usually things I find on special offer. I had a short spell when I could afford to go to the hairdressers and paid anything up to £70 for colours. Now I'm on the pension however, times are tight so I was really pleased when yesterday, I found a box of Couleur Experte in a box at an auction sale. There was also a box of Garnier multi-lights and I got both for £1 - Well I've just used the Couleur Experte (Rum Coffee) and I'm SO pleased with the results.
Unfortunately, I don't look like the girl on the box and I wish I'd left the highlight cream on longer (I chickened out after reading all your revues) I'd certainly save up for another kit ...
Advantages: Develops in 10 minutes Disadvantages: None
This review is for l'Oreal Excel10 NOT Feria - but I don't know how to start a new link.
Dying my hair is something I have to do as I'm going grey and I don't want to grow old gracefully (disgracefully is more fun!). But I really hate doing it, especially as it takes so long for the colour to develop (as my hair tends to be resistent to colour I usually end up having to leave the dye on for at least 30-35 minutes). So when I saw the telly ad for L'Oreal Excell10 I was really intrigued - surely it's not possible that a hair colour could develop in just 10 minutes AND cover all grey? It also claimed to make the hair stronger and with the help of the cashmere conditioner leave it shiny - it all sounded too good to be true! Well shortly after seeing the ad regularly on TV the dreaded moment arrived - I know I need to colour my hair ...
