Advantages: good colour/ no rubbing off on clothes etc. Disadvantages: may be streaks and sometimes messy
I had always usually relied on the sun for a tan but had always worried about the effect of it on my skin. I had always disregarded fake tan because i though it didn't work and was expensive but then i saw L'Orealsublime bronze on the shelves and at a price of 9.99 it was incredably cheap! i applied it as soon as i got home. The directions were simple and easy to use resulting in the gel going on smoothly and more or less evenly. The fake tan hardly rubbed off on my sheets, clothes or in the shower. The appearance was slighlty streaky so i recommend that if you're going to use this product that you purchase additional tan corrector wipes for just 50p each from boots. The product claims to be fragrance free but the smell was quite distinctive and lingered on my hands for about a week. I also suggest that you lay a towel on the floor ...
Advantages: subtle, even, healthy glow Disadvantages: don't think the bottle will last very long
The only fake tan I had ever used was Johnson's Holiday Skin lotion, and whilst I liked the results it gives, you have to apply it pretty much every day to get noticeable results and maintain your tan. As I am too lazy to apply tanning lotion every day, when this bottle ran out I decided to try something a little stronger that would have a little more staying power. I had no idea where to start, not wanting to pay loads, but not wanting to cheap out and end up looking like a tangerine! Eventually I decided on L'OrealSublime Bronze self-tanning gel, as I thought of L'Oreal as being quite a trustworthy brand. Also, the Sublime Bronze range had 1/3 off at Boots, so I paid £7.32 for a 150ml bottle instead of £10.99. Another thing that attracted me to this product was the fact that it is suitable for use on face as well as body. Previous ...
Advantages: Protects natural pigmentation and dyed hair. Disadvantages: Costly, can be frightening as it is a funny blue-ish colour
This product is designed especially for blondes and it shows. I work in Cut Above hair dressers that supports L'Oreal and i find that when washing blonde hair this product really does what it says. The blonde shines and becomes the best colour it can be, This may be dark blonde, light blonde, musky-dirty blonde, it doesnt matter because this product really shows that any blonde can be beautifull. As a blonde i own this product and love it! I can really see the colour coming out in my hair. For dyed hair this is really good, as bleach and other colourants can strip the hair of its natural pigmentation this product not only protects it but calms the hair down ready for blowdrying but does not flatten layers. ...
