I am forever trying to find good products for my long, thick and sometimes frizzy hair, so when I saw the ads for smoothintense I thought I had to try it.
The ads are great and I fell for them hook line and sinker. But the reality is that when my hair is first washed it looks and smells wonderful, having said that within two days it feel dull and greasy and not nice at all so needs re-washing.
I have used many L'Oreal products in the past but this one does not live up tothe claims. It is nice to feel your hair so sheek and shiny but it does not last more than two days. an almost gel like texture. It's not overly thick, but nor is it runny. I do think if it were any thicker though it might be too thick to run through the hair smoothly.
One thing this product does have going for it though, is the smell. It has a lovely fruity scent to it, which is noticeable, yet not overpowering. I like my hair products to smell nice, but not smell so strong that they become sickly, and this manages to achieve that perfect balance.
I most often apply this to dry hair, after I've straightened it to control the halo of frizz I tend to get! As the serum is a little on the gloopy side, I find that it is best to apply a very small amount at a time. 4-5 hours I would say without needing re-charged and once they do it only takes about half an hour for full battery life to be resumed.
For me the actual sixaxis function isn't that important. Unless a PS3 version of Wii Sports comes out then I don't see that much use for this function. Virtua Tennis allows sixaxis to be used, but you also have to control the player by tilting the controller, which is very difficult.
The actual controller itself is very lightweight, but you will get used to this very quickly. The buttons are easy to press, but I do have to minor problems with the buttons.
