After seeing the adevrtisement on T.V. for
"L'Oréal Paris Volume Shocking mascara"
and swayed by the claim of 12x the volume , the glamour and the hype....I bought it...
This is a two-step mascara which consists of a base-coat and a top-coat. and claims to " provide the most explosive volume ever!..
At £10.99 it was quite expensive, but I thought it must be worth it.
Later that evening with time to myself I decided to try it,
sitting in front of the bathroom mirror with remover and wipes at the ready I opened the mascara which comes apart to reveal 2 separate applicators..

First, with the brush I applied the silvery coloured "lash defining base-coat"
I found this very easy to use and it really did separate and define my lashes,

mascara, both of which promised a false lash "theatrical" look - they weren't that good. I kept looking out for a waterproof version of the Volume Shocking.
At the beginning of March, I saw an advert for the waterproof version of L'orealVolume Shocking, and I bought it at the Boots' offer price of £7.99, instead of £10.99. It is fantastic - huge, thick well-defined lashes, with no running AT ALL - not even in the shower. One little problem - it takes two eye-make up remover pads on each eye to get it off, otherwise you'd have to rub really hard, and the skin around the eye is much too delicate for that. I use waterproof-removing pads, too, and they have always removed my waterproof make-up.
I definitely recommend this mascara if you want to look "made up", you can get away with wearing this without eyeliner and still look ...

Well I have tried and tested this mascara and I would say it has done wonders for me. It may be a little on the expensive side but it has worked for me, a couple of years ago I cut my eyelashes in boredom and really regret it now but I have found the perfect mascara magic wand that has given me great lashes again.
