L'Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Silver

Advantages: Easily lifts brassy or yellow tones.
Disadvantages: Chemical smell & too much use will discolour hair.

I occasionally use this product to keep my hair from looking brassy or yellow. It works very well to keep your hair light, but as a result I find that I can only use this product around once or twice a month tops, otherwise my hair will take on a grey or purple tint. You do have to be quite careful when using this product, as the purple colour of the shampoo is so strong that if you don't rinse down your bath or shower immediately it will stain. The bottle is quite small, but since you need to use so little product to get an immediate result you can get a lot of use out of it. It smells very chemically, but the smell doesn't tend to linger after rinsing so you don't really notice. I would reccomend this shampoo to anyone with blonde or lighter hair. ...

L'Oreal Couleur Experte? DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Advantages: None!
Disadvantages: Smells AWFUL, Nothing like the colour advertised, dries your hair out!

Oh my where do I start? My natural colour is a very light brown colour with natural blonde tones, 3 most recent colours it has had were twice auburn and then blonde (in attempt to get rid of the red tones in my hair). I then bought L'Oreal coleur 'exprete', absolutely daft name, as there is nothing expert about this colour that's for sure. Yesterday I did a streak test, I cut a full length streak right from the root and applied the colourant, once I had left it the time stated I washed the streak and had a look, I was in shock as nothing had actually happened, apart from the roots getting lighter! So I decided to give it another go, convinced something miraculous must start to happen sooner or later, I left it another hour! When I finally rinsed out the streak test and look at it the roots looked lighter and the main hair ...

L'Oreal is no expert!!

Advantages: good concept and nice conditioner.
Disadvantages: everything else, disappointing!

Oh my god, where do I start! Fancied a change so I went and bought this big lovely box of L'Oreal Colouer Experte. Caramel something. Firstly the price was a bit steep, £9.49 but could live with it. I put the base colour on my hair and instead of using for 20 minutes I had to use it for 2 hours, that was great fun! After taking off the base colour I thought umm quite nice. After I put on the highlights left it on for the recommended time (unfortunately). I washed of the awful smell of dye and found some highlights had turned ginger, I didnt think that could be possible considering my hair was jet black! God was I amazed! My hair looked so home-kitty, I think even Stevie Wonder could tell it was a home kit! Sorry bad Joke. This L'Oreal was misleading in colour and a disgusting smell. L'Oreal should take this off the market! ...
