Well, after seeing that, couldn't resist and so chose a bottle of the straightening cream and a hair-spray from the range too. Even when not on special offer, this product is still extremely good value at around £3 per bottle from any chemist. The product left my hair with a nice, clean, hairdresser type smell similar to the kind given by expensive, professional hair styling products. It does not have any scent in particular but instead just a clean smell that assures you that the product is doing no damage to your hair but helping to make you look and feel good.

I first tried this product about six months ago when I was looking for a pair of straightners but couldn't quite afford the ones I wanted. I love my hair when it is straight but it just seems such a hassle to have to wash, dry and finally straighten each morning or evening. Therefore, I decided to look for a product to do the job for me. Now I can cut out the straightening and instead smooth some of this in before blow-drying.

Even when not on special offer, this product is still extremely good value at around £3 per bottle from any chemist. Some of the other products that were meant to do the same job were a lot more expensive and I didn't want to waste money on a product that might not even work for me.
So, that night, I went home, had a shower and "gently towel dried" my hair as told on the bottle. I then looked at the directions for application and was slightly confused when I was told to place a "nut-sized" amount in the palm of my hand. Nutsized? What kind of nut?! Peanut, walnut, hazelnut? As I couldn't figure out what it meant, I decided to improvise and squeezed a dollop into the palm of my hand. My hair is quite long so I had to smooth the first lot into one side of my hair and repeat at the other. If you have shorter hair then one lot should be enough.
After applying the cream by rubbing it into my hands and smoothing it on using my fingers as a comb, my hair felt slightly laiden down with it which I was slightly worried about to start with. I didnt want my hair to be heavy and greasy after using this. Luckily, when I started to blow-dry, the greasy, heavy feel disappeared, leaving my hair soft and shiny. It was also straighter than it had been in the past, although I would recommend perhaps using straighteners alongside this cream as it doesn't exactly leave you hair poker-straight. However, it does take most of the waves out which is what I was basically looking for and besides, I don't really go in for the unnaturally straight hair look - just a tidy alternative, which is what I get when I use L'Oreal Hot Straight.

As said above, this product is available from most pharmacies and chemists and such for about £4 for a 150ml bottle. It does go down quicker if you have longer hair or if you don't use straightners as you need more to get the desired effect but it is a lot cheaper than some of the "professional" brands. Besides, L'Oreal is a professional brand and it works a treat.
I know this is a cliche but I just have to include it in my review of this product:
Go ahead and buy this today, "because your worth it"!
Hope it helps and thanks for reading. This may also appear on dooyoo but it is my work too!
Advantages: Leaves hair straight, soft and shiny! Disadvantages: Hard to know how much to use
Like pretty much every girl on this planet, i love nothing more than to know that i look good; as we all know when you look good, you feel good! But i had always had one problem - my hair. When I was younger, i was blessed with dead straight shiny hair, and then i did the silly thing of having layers put in. Now its naturally all wavy and curly. So like many other women, i decided straighteners were the way to go. Yet i could never seem to get my ... ...straight, and worst of all was very dry and coarse due to constant straightening. This is when i knew i had to invest in a decent heat protection product.I was initially suprised at the amount of variety there was in the shops, but it seemed as though i would have to pay salon prices to get a decent product. Then i saw this. The hot prink bottle containing L'Oreals Hot Straight serum stood out on the shelf immediately, no less because at between ...

Why I Chose This Product:
Now, I've always had quite 'good' condition hair due to my super fussiness over it, but when I purchased my GHD hair straighteners 2 years ago, the good condition slowly faded into a distant memory.
Despite the fact that GHDs are considered to be a very gentle set of straighteners to use on your hair, over ... ...you used a heat protecting serum on it first!
So, armed with my newfound knowledge that Beyoncé Knowles used L'oréal Studio Line Hot Straight Straightening Cream (care of the wonderful world of TV advertising) and clearly had fantablulous hair, I popped down to Boots with a few pounds to see if I could save my hair.
So, what does the product claim to do?
Well, first things first: this product is designed for use with straightening irons and hairdryers, ...

Advantages: Smooth straight hair, PINK Disadvantages: Makes my hair a bit dry
My mission in life is to find some way of getting my hair to STAY STRAIGHT. It does not behave and takes 20 minutes of blasting with a hot hot hot hairdryer and a good 15-20 minutes with some hot hot hot staighteners, and then I step outside the door and a gust of wind makes me look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards and then been skydiving. So I have to straighten again. Obviously as you can imagine all of this heat isnt so good for ... ...some to be ok (pantene do some good ones) some to be rubbish and sticky (SUNSILK) but I also needed one that would protect my hair while it worked its magic. And low and behold Beyonce appeared on my tv with a gorgeous pink bottle and promised it would do just that. Worth a try?
PACKAGING
Now this is a bottle that looks good on my vanity table, its a hot pink colour with STUDIO STRAIGHT on the front. It explains that its thermo-protect technology ...

Advantages: Easy to spot on the shelf! Works a treat! Disadvantages: I use it too quick!
After many many years of struggling and fussing over my curly thick hair, i have finally found a solution to end all my bad hair days!
I have used many lotions and potions on my hair, from the cheap to the top of the range and this seems the best by far!!!
It started about a year ago, when one day in the salon i was trying my hardest to give a blow dry which was smooth and flawless, but i was struggling as the lady had very thick, very frizzy hair! ... ...it, but it was off putting to think i had to do that again!
I spoke to my tutor about it and she asked if i had used any straightening products and if i had tried the 'loreal studio hot straight protector cream' in particular. she said " You know, the one that beyonce advertises on telly!"....
I took the bottle from the display and read the back of it, which to my relief sounded like the end to all bad hair days like the one i just had!
I went ...

Advantages: the smell, protective, cheap, works Disadvantages: care when applying
...I started to use the L'Oreal hair straightening cream, this is the one that beyonce advertises on tv and it comes in a pink 150mlplastic bottle. It will usually last a few months depending on how often you straighten your hair. Professionals state that when straightening or styling hair you should use some form of hair protectant to prevent hair damage from the heat used when styling. This cream is extra special in that not only does it protect the ... ...effect via heat activation. Don't ask me how this works, but im sure it involves some sort of "science bit"…maybe with polymers and molecules and adhesion and what not…but I didn't do a chemistry degree so…
To use, you pump out a nut sized amount into your fingertips and then run through your hair, damp after washing or dry. I then use my straightners to straighten my hair as per normal. You can also use a hair dryer if you want to blow dry your ...
