I normally use a gradual self tan but when I wanted a tan more quickly I decided to buy this product. The first time that I used this I exfoliated and moisturised the day before applying it and the tan was streak free as promised although around my underarms there was some collection of colour but it was not very noticeable - I always now make sure that I rub the lotion in carefully in that area. Overall I was very pleased with the result that this self-tan gave and although I do use self -tan quite often, I would say that it is user friendly. There were no streaks and it was a nice golden colour. The tan did not last very long but now if I wanted it to be longer I would simply apply another 'coat'. My skin was also left feeling very soft. In subsequent uses I have not bothered to exfoliate and have just put it on - I know that this is a cardinal sin in the world of fake tan but it actually didn't seem to make much difference to the outcome. Also I think the colour is light enough for you to be able to build it up over two days so if you do make a mistake it shouldn't be too noticeable.
