After searching for what seemed like forever for a mascara that lived up to its hype i finally found one i love, this to me is the Holy Grail of Mascara.
I purchased this Mascara from Boots for £8.99 which i thought was a resonable price and alot cheaper than my usually YSL mascara. I wanted a change from my usual mascara as i found that it was drying out quite quickly and paying £20.00 was starting to annoy me. So after buying alot of different Mascara's which didnt live up to their hype in my opinion, i decided to try this one.
After getting home i was so excited to try this, i bought the L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black which comes in a black tube not the usual Greyish one, as far as im aware they dont have a waterproof one in the Carbon Black but they do in the norman Telescopic range. On taking the wand out of the tube i was shocked, i wondered how on earth this tiny wand would make any difference to my lashes there is 4 rows of combs which look like an "X" and they are so small. There does not look like there is alot of Mascara on the wand but on application you find there is the right amount.
So anyways i usually curl my lashes before hand in order to get the wide eyed looked but i felt in order to see how well this Mascara performed i wouldn't curl them. So i applied one coat of the Mascara and i have to say i was totally amazed, My lashes looked so long and curled and also the colour of the Mascara gave an almost glossy look to my lashes. I usually apply two coats of Mascara to my lashes so i applied another coat and my lashes looked amazing they looked perfectly curled enought to make my eyes look awake and every lash was coated in Mascara perfectly. This Mascara is so good i would may more for it! I often found with my usual YSL Mascara it would often flake but this didnt i wear it everyday and it hasn't started to flake. Also i've found that non waterproof mascaras can often make my lashes loose their curl after a couple of hours but this never happened with this mascara.
I cannot recommend this Mascara enough i get so many compliments on how good my eyes look, i cant find a bad thing to say about it however i would say that if someone was after more volume this perhaps is not the Mascara for them as although L'Oreal do not claim this makes lashes have more volume i think it gives quite enough for me but maybe not so much for everyone else.
