I am always trying to find a concealer which banishes my awful dark circles and I think I may have found it in this product! My dark circles are genetic (my mum and dad both had them) and I have tried everything to get rid of them - from expensive eye creams to the 'cucumbers on the eyes' trick to drinking litres of water each day. Nothing ever seemed to work naturally, so I started to look for the perfect concealer.
I read about Touche Magique in a magazine and since it was quite cheap (it was only £6) I thought I would give it a go. I chose the porcelain beige shade which was the lightest.
The concealer has quite basic packaging. It does not come in a box, and the concealer comes in a white tube, which you turn at the end so the concealer comes out through the little brush at the other end, and it says 'Touche Magique' on the side in metallic writing.
When I put it on at first I thought it was too yellow, but I found that a yellow based concealer helped to hide my purple bags better than a pink based one could. Pink based concealers are better for people who have brown-ish coloured dark circles.
The concealer is light reflecting, which basically means that it helps dark circles appear brighter. It is made specifically for dark circles, and I would not recommend using it to cover blemishes and spots as it will only draw attention to them.
If this concealer is used correctly it can work wonders. At first I was covering my under-eye area in this, and it did nothing for me. Then I started to just apply a dot in the inner corner of my eye ad blended it outwards and it really did cover them up!
I love this product and I take it everywhere with me now. I would definately recommend it, especially as it is based on the YSL concealer Touche Eclat which is a lot more expensive than this.
