Being a cosmetic junkie i decided to try this product recently, after having used other mineral powders: Bare minerals mineral veil, Philsophy the Supernatural and Urban Decays mineral powder. I was draw to this Loreal one due to the £12.99 price tag, being 1/2 that of Philosophy.
Firstly the colour. Ive always found buying powder a chore as the colour in store is never the same when you get it outside. And the harsh lights never help. I found the range was reasonable but being an off the stand product there was no helpful assistants to help you test it.
I settled (being in a rush) for one that i felt looked reasonaly like my colouring, assisted by my partner, and headed home to try it.
Having used mineral powders before i know less is more. So i built up the colour gradually, and looked more and more orange as i went. Ok so maybe not the right colour!!
Onto the product itself, the pot comes with a brush in the lid. beware this has to be one the most scratcy awful cheap brushes i have come across. It was uncomfortable to use, almost unpleasant. I would not recommend using the brush it comes with.
To the powder (cant blame loreal for me choosing the wrong shade )i would say it gives good coverage, better than the Urban Decay one i have used and didnt dry my skin which Bare MineralsMineral Veil did. However i think with all mineral powders it can end up looking mask like. And, having oily skin, at the end of the day i looked patchy. Also i would say not to apply concealed over it (say mid day touch up) as it made mine go lumpy, not a good look.
Overall the price is not bad for a mineral powder and if you find the right shade it gives decent coverage.
However i would not buy this again.

Advantages: Cheap for mineral foundation. Disadvantages: Poorly designed, bad colour choice, bad coverage and shine control.
