, for graphic designers its essential that the colours on screen are the colours that we see on paper which is why good monitors (and printers) are required. The size also means that one can easily work on an A3 design template without straining their eyes.
Unfortunately I can't say much about the manufacturer support for this monitor, but I can say that it was relatively easy to install after a few set backs which was down to the software for the old monitors preinstalled on the computers. the instruction guide was easy to read and easy to use and the monitor itself is easy to use, and very reliable, hasn't let us down yet.

't read my previous review on the 500GB version, this LaCieLaCinema comes in a white little square sturdy box. Taking out the contents you will find the device itself (black in colour), CD with manuals (no drivers needed), USB 2.0 cable, A/V cable, remote with batteries (2AA), power adapter and a (very) Quick Install Guide. The hard disk looks professional and its weight is not too heavy nor too light (1Kg to be exact). Colour is opaque black with blue led lights on the front when turned on. It has some controls on the front (stop, play, four direction arrows and power button) which might come handy at times but trust me you will always use the remote. On the back it presents a USB 2.0 port, 3 A/V plugs (Video+Audio Left & Right), S-Video and others similar to the composite plugs but dedicated to the HD video so you can plug it to the most ...

High rating for this multimedia hard disk. As I predicted in a previous review of mine (about a Packard Bell multimedia hard disk) these kind of products quickly increased their popularity and now we have so many brands that we really don't know which one to pick.
Since these are new products it's also hard to find any kind of review about most of them. Many report weird crashes, others have codec issues.
