It is a fairly large drive, and requires its own power supply, so it is definitely not a portable device. However, as a secondary drive to your desktop ... ...fast transfer speeds. It is also pretty durable, as mine has fallen off of its desk more than once while running, and still works as good as new.
It is extremely quick and easy to set up, taking a matter of seconds once the wires are all in place.
I would definitelty reccommend this to a friend who required a cheap, reliable storage drive, but did not need portability. ... more

However, as a secondary drive to your desktop pc, it is more than capable, as it has reasonably fast transfer speeds. It is also pretty durable, as mine has fallen off of its desk more than once while running, and still works as good as new.
