Great, Rugged, Portable, Fast |

I had an old Lacie Rugged 320 GB drive for several years prior to buying this one. Now I have two, and it's actually impressive to see how the Rugged evolved in the past few years. I have the 1 TB Rugged mini, and it's smaller and even feels sturdier than its predecessor. The build quality is excellent. The drive is made of solid aluminum, and is supposed to be shock, rain, and pressure resistant. I saw somewhere in the specification that the drive can be run over with a 1 ton car, and still work after that. I haven't tried that, but Rugged mini for sure inspires confidence that it will not break easily. Besides the ruggedness, the speeds and overall performance of this drive are great. I'd recommend.
