The other day I went to my local Apple Store (local being 1 and a half hours away), in search of an external hard drive.

To be honest, I went looking for the ultra-cool looking iOmega hard drive but apparently, they are sold out across the UK :(

Well, I had just travelled for an hour and a half and I wasn't going to leave without a hard drive.

That's when I came across this beauty :P

The speeds transferring data to and from the hard drive are amazing using the firewire 800 cable that came with it.

What I love about it is the big blue button on the front. With one simple push, Time Machine opens on my mac and allows me to retrieve any file from one of my backups straight away.

Another cool feature for the energy conscious is the power switch. Normally you get two options: On or Off. With this hard drive, you get an Auto option. This means, whenever you connect your mac/pc to the hard drive, it will turn on by itself!

I'd give this hard drive a 9.5/10 :D
