Review of www.la-boutique.co.ukLa-boutique is an online department store stocking cosmetics, aromatherapy, lingerie, beauty products and all manner of giftable items. In the run up to Christmas, this site is bound to gain in popularity, not least for it's vast stock list.
**The site**
The site is easy to navigate, if a little dated in design. The products appear in a jumbled, haphazard fashion, with toiletry bags appearing in a random fashion next to facial spritzers, in turn nestling amongst tanning products and men's aftershave. The top of the home page has the usual Home, Search, T&Cs, Contact, Cart and Checkout links above a dull grey banner. The banner declares some of the names and products stocked.
To the right hand side of the home page is a confusing mismatched list of links and buttons. These include FAQs, Blog ...

On our recent trip to the Loire Valley Mr Tart and myself arrived in Tours quite late on our first night. We drove down to Tours from Paris. We were going to stop for something to eat on the way but in the end decided to make our way straight to Tours and get settled in the hotel and then find something close by. A couple of minutes from our hotel we came across this place and were really glad that we did.
LOCATION:
La Chope is located at 25 Avenue Grammont. Our hotel was on the same road so we just came across it. It is about a ten minute walk from Tours? old town. The restaurant doesn?t stand out and the sign is not particularly bright so make sure you look out for it.
THE EXPERIENCE:

Advantages: Location, price, friendly staff Disadvantages: Close proximity to the mountains meant a lot of cloud
reception and has the essentials you may require whilst on holiday. We visited La Palma in low season, but the shelves in this shop, and all of the ones around the town were full.
There are a number of trips that can be organised through the tour operator and we partook in a number of these. We visited the national park which was excellent and a definite recommendation as this was very informative and a worthwhile day out. We also visited a local wine producer and the wine there was very nice, a few bottles were certainly purchased! We also walked around the top of a dormant (thankfully!) volcano and this was certainly an experience!! This is not good for those with height issues as on one side there was the volcano, on the other was a near vertical drop and the only thing that divided the two was a narrow path! BEWARE do not proceed ...
