I choose Garnier Belle Color (No 5. Brown) mainly due to the cost which I felt was very reasonable at £3.65. I have used this product before and due to past good results, I decided to give it another go. It is a permanent colour which I am informed from the box that Garnier Belle Color covers 100% grey hair. ***Packaging***

'Colour ... ...my £3.65 I spent on Garnier Belle Color and will definitely be using this one again. Just to help me remember which colour I used, on the inside of the packaging, there is a No 5 printed on the inside tab and a reminder note telling me to keep this tab for your next shopping trip. I thought that was a nice touch by Garnier, although the chances of my remembering where I put the tab is a different matter. I'll be able to come back here though and ...

...picked the light natural brown Garnier Belle Colour and looked on the back. It shows you what colour your hair will go depending on the current colour. I thought it looked ok and purchased it and took it home ready to save my hair.
Within the box you get an instruction sheet so that you know what you are doing. You get 1 applicator bottle of developer milk, 1 colour ease cream tube, 1 sachet of conditioner crème and the leaflet with the plastic ... ...it asks you is the product for me? The answers are yes if you want natural permanent looking colour, if you want to cover grey hair, if you want to lighten or darken or enhance natural colour and if you want a quick method. It shows on the back how the colour will turn out if used on light blonde to dark blonde hair, light brown to brown and dark brown to black. Advantages: Quick and easy, good variety of shades Disadvantages: Messy!
I hadn’t used any other hair colourants besides bleach/lightener for many, many years but have just found the need to as I cultivate my ‘two tone’ style of bleached blonde top and sides and dark brown back/under section. I found I needed to use a dark brown colour to blend in some stray blonde bits and strengthen the effect so it was off to the chemists to make my selection among the vast choice.
Well, “Belle Colour” ... ...used it!! It used to be the classic choice for the older lady wanting to blend in grey rather than younger folk wanting more trendy colours. All that has changed. The packaging is now more modern and colourful blending in with more of todays’ newer colourants on the shelf and certainly putting up good competition in its shade range – there are approximately 20+ shades available ranging from their Belle Blonde hair lightener through lightest ...

Advantages: cheap, effective, easy to use Disadvantages: smell of conditioner
...use are L’Oreal Casting, and Garnier Nutrisse. Recently I noticed my roots were showing, and so went to buy some more dye, and for no particular reason, decided to try Garnier Belle Colour.
~About the product~
This is a permanent home hair dye kit. The dye covers 100% of grey hair. In a box you get the following:
- One 60ml bottle of developer milk
- One 40ml tube of ‘Color-Ease’ crème
- One 15ml sachet of conditioner crème
- One pair of disposable ... ...disaster! Thankfully, the people at Garnier have developed a much easier way of doing things. To make up the dye, you simply squeeze the tube of color-ease crème into the bottle of developer milk and then shake well to create an even mixture. As simple as that.
~Application~
Wearing the protective gloves provided simply apply to unwashed, dry hair and massage in. If you have grey hair at the roots they suggest starting there. Then all you need ...

Advantages: Very easy to apply, doesn't dye facial hair Disadvantages: Very overpowering smell, that bloody sachet
It’s that hair dying time of the month again, and my roots are bigger than me. Usually, I’m a L’oreal gal - the one in the old-fashioned brown box – and I’m not averse to ‘Feria’ or ‘Live’, both of which give your hair an amazing vibrancy and shine. L’oreal’s my dye of choice because it doesn’t fade, you get a whole months supply of that brilliant conditioner and it comes with ... ...plastic that let all the dye in anyway.
But ‘Belle Color’ was the only one left at the chemist in black, so after some dejection, sighing and slinking off to the till dragging my feet, I bought it anyway. It’s a non-drip hair dye, that works with your hair’s own natural highlights for a more natural look. I pegged a towel round my shoulders anyway, and I suggest you do the same. I don’t want to have to share the state ...

For example the medium brown that I plumped for would match L’Oreal’s ‘Natural Brown’, Garnier Nutrisse ‘Medium Brown’ and GarnierBelleColor’s ‘Brown’.

This is a product I tried about 2 months ago. I remember this well since I bought it in a 3 for 2 offer at Boots. The main reason why I bought it was because it seemed like value of money. I was wrong.
I’m a veteran at home hairdyeing but this... more
