This seemed like what i needed, a cheap multimedia keyboard. And let me tell you, i love it.

So,my old keyboard broke to the extent it seemed to short circuit the motherboard socket ( when it was plugged in it would reboot the pc, and also half the keys were set up wrong, eg caps lock would mute it etc) so i popped down to my local Argos to pick up a Keyboard. This seemed like what i needed, a cheap multimedia keyboard. And let me tell you, i love it. The Media keys work from within programs, so say your playinga quiet game, such as minesweeper and you want to music, you just load up the music with the music key then press play etc along the top of the keyboard. It doesn't even change the window or anything, it just does it in the background, which is superb. It works from anything, as i have played games such as pro evo soccer and it will do it from there still. Its inclined at a good angle for your wrists and its not too tiring to type on it. The keys are just right in terms of responsiveness, so you don't have to hit it to make it type and yet you don't just have to breath near it to make it go off, ie perfect. It is also easy to clean, i found just taking the enter key or spacebar out enables you to get rid of most of the stuff underneath the keys. The only one problem i have had with this product is that my left shift key was sticky for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be back to normal so it was probably my fault. Overall, i would recommend this for the casual gamer /typist.
