Labtec was founded in 1982 and is a leading products provider for computing, communication and entertainment. The Labtec mice have a large proportion of the market.
Labtec mini optical glow mouse has very good design for use with laptops.
It looks the same as the picture you can see on this website, but it’s a lot smaller than you can imagine from the picture. The size is about as big as 2/3 of standard mouse. However it has a two-button design with a single scroll wheel in-between.
The whole translucent panel and the scroll wheel change slowly in 7 colours when the mouse is working. If you don’t like it you can turn it off.
The cable is adaptable with a spool. You can pull the cable to your desired length; you can also roll the cable back into the spool when you don’t need the mouse.
My opinion
I have used it for few days. As mouse itself, I think it’s very good. Light but solidly made. It always works fast and accurately. However I feel uncomfortable with the size. It seems my right hand is always in the air without any support. If I use it for a long time I feel very tired with my right hand.
I read some reviews about the mouse before I bought it. I had got an idea that the mouse is suitable for users who have small hands.
I think my hands are smaller than most adults I have seen, but I still feel the mouse is too small. The distance between the two buttons is too small. I feel my fingers sticking in a very small space.
My opinion is Labtec mini optical glow mouse is suitable for travelling, not quite for daily use.
Also before you buy a mouse, better to touch it first to see if it’s suitable with your hands or not.
