Advantages: Fresh fragrant and lasts all day. Disadvantages: I lost the spray nozzle!

Rather than the warmth or spic of some of their other products, this give a clean and crisp smell that wears well and remains quite prominant in your nose for the entire day. It causes no irritation to my skin and I do have fairly sensitive skin. In fact it feels very fresh and cool going on.
I gauge my aftershaves on the girls at work. If they tell me "Oh you smell nice today" I know i have a nice fragrance on. They are honest and tell me when they dont like it! With Essential, they always say "That is a lovely smell, what is it?" so it definitely has an appeal to the opposite sex (the smell rather than me!) Oh, my wife also likes it!
The bottle itself is fairly regular and uninspiring. It is rectangular and clear so you can see the slightly green fragrance easily and judge how much you have left.
The Spray nozzle is not particulaly secure and i actually lost the nozzle from mine. However , the nozzle from any of the CK1 or CKB range fits perfectly so you can interchange it! Handy to know!
When to wear it? Well it has good longevity so I would suggest making the most of it and wear it during the day. This will maximise its freshness and also keep you smelling sweet in other people's nostrils!
Its available from most high street retailers that sell aftershave and possibly cheapest in Superdrug. You can buy a 50cl bottle for around £30. I guess after its launched it proved so popular that it is now one of its biggest sellers.
Overall it is a fantastic fragrance that is nice to wear, impressive to the opposite sex (or is that me?) and lasts all day. Its reasonable priced and a sure winner!

Advantages: Lovely fragrance, suits all people, can be worn anywhere with style Disadvantages: A little sickly after a while
Lacoste Essential aftershave is a simply wonderfull fragrance. The modern and fairly new aftershave is a great product from their range. It is a very sophisticated fragrance but has an element of freshness and sweetness to it that i simply love. The smell is very strong and recognizable amongst other aftershaves but still holds an element of disguise about it. The sweet and refreshing smell of lacoste essential keeps me going throughout the day with ... ...is the same with all lacoste aftershaves. The freshness of the fragrance is beautifully aromatic and subtle, which is perfect for work, going-out and just sitting at home. Honestly, this fragrance is perfect for anywhere and everywhere. Simply LOVELY!

Advantages: Strong Smelling Disadvantages: Shape of the Bottle is pretty ackward
I got Lacoste Essentials giving as a gift when my Girlfriend got back from her holiday. When i got it i thought it would be pretty good and i was right. The smell of the cologne was strong and alsted pretty long, infact when i put some on in the morning and it was still strong smelling at nightime. The bottle i was giving is pretty ackward to hold but thats because its pretty big, as you may see in the photo. I was giving the set just like the picture ... ...Gel. They all have a similar smell to each other but not as strong as the Aftershave. The Shower Gel is not so good as its quiet thick, i prefer if it was slightly thinner. But because its thicker it doesn't need as much for a full body wash as when it hits water it thins out. I think that this lacoste is really nice. It has a light smell to it but a few sprays and it lasts for ages. The bottle is really cool and looks expensive and posh.I think that nightime use can be used but day time use is the main thing. Girls love it and even though im young i pulled just by wearing it. The spray lasts for ages aswell so the bottle is well worth the money. I dont really know how to put it. If you like light, fruity smells then get ...
