Lacoste Red Style Eau de Toilette Natural Spray for Men

...bought my own bottle of Lacoste Red. That was quite a while ago and I am now on my third bottle of it.

Packaging
The box that this aftershave comes in is bright red with the Lacoste logo and the word Lacoste written in white across the front. The top and bottom of the box are black. The actual bottle is glass which is red at the bottom, and clear at the top. This makes the aftershave inside look like it is coloured at the bottom. ...

A friend of mine was wearing an aftershave that I liked, so after asking what the fragrance was, I promptly went out and bought my own bottle of Lacoste Red. That was quite a while ago and I am now on my third bottle of it.

Packaging
The box that this aftershave comes in is bright red with the Lacoste logo and the word Lacoste written in white across the front. The top and bottom of the box are black. The actual bottle is glass which is red at the bottom, and clear at the top. This makes the aftershave inside look like it is coloured at the bottom. The bottle is an oval type shape with a flat bottom. The Lacoste logo (a crocodile) and the word Lacoste are both printed on the front of the bottle in white. Both sides of the bottle have ridged edges. The lid is silver with a red stripe running round it.

Cost
I paid £24.99 for the bottle I have at the moment which is a 75ml bottle and I bought it from a local Supersaver Store. I have looked online and you can buy this aftershave from and the prices are; £24.99 for 50ml and £28.99 for 75ml. I have found this item cheaper online if you buy it as a tester bottle where it comes without the box.

The Aftershave
This is one of my favourite aftershaves. I would say that this aftershave is quite light and fresh but somehow quite musky at the same time. According to the website, Lacoste Red has top notes of fresh green apples and subtle floral scents. It has middle notes of jasmine, along with a blend of cedar wood. And finally, it contains base notes of precious woods and white musk. So I guess the main scents that some through are the sweetness of the green apples and the musk from the white musk. The aftershave has quite a decent staying power. I usually apply a few squirts of aftershave in the morning and I can still definitely smell it on myself still at lunchtime.

Conclusion
As I already mentioned, this aftershave is one of my favourites. I like that fact that is still smells masculine without being too overpowering. I find some of the men’s aftershaves smell far too overpowering but this one isn’t like that at all. Compared to some of the other named brand aftershaves available, I think that this aftershave offers quite good value for money. I think this aftershave is suitable for everyday wear as it isn’t too obvious and just kind of lingers in the background. Certainly a product I would recommend.
