Lactacyd Femina

We all love the hot weather - well most of the time. There's nothing worse than not feeling fresh or worse getting more irritated than usual - especially if suffering from conditions such a Thrush.

Lactacyd femina is available in a number of different forms. I have tried the wipes and the wash. The products work by evening out the levels of acid conditions down there that cause all manner of irritation!

The wipes cost £2.85 from Boots for 10 wipes. They are each individually wrapped and around the size of a credit card so they are pretty discreet. The wipes look like the current Li-let's wipes but have a less alcholly feel to them. They don't smell like some awful seventies aftershave! They smell like a very mild soap although they are soap free.

The main results for me were an instant feeling of freshness that lasted. At work I could freshen up quickly. It was especially useful if I was wearing synthetic fibres or tight clothes to ease any irritation caused.

The femina wash was a great accompaniment but more expensive - £5.29 from Boots. This was great to use after a bath when I'd used soap or foam bath. It ensured that I didn't get irritation after exposure to all those chemicals we pure into the bath these days! It is a white creme liquid with a similar consistency to shampoo or bubble bath. I only use small amounts and it foams up a lot so I would advise only tiny spots of the wash on a sponge. You get a big enough bottle and it lasts ages.

A word of caution. My boyfriend (back a few years now) once said to me "That spot cream you've got in the bathroom is good - smells nice too". When I explained that it was Lactacyd Femina he didn't know what to do with himself!!!

Buy it but keep it out of the way of your man!
