credit crunch?: A total waste of money

Advantages: It may give you the confidence to do the exercise
Disadvantages: Expensive gimmick, you don't need one to do the exercise intended

I feel I'm being a bit negative today in my reviews of fitness equipment, but this is another needless piece of equipment that somehow has managed to find its way into every gym and home in Britain. Surely that means its doing its job well right? Well I fear its been marketed well as opposed to actually performing the task in hand as well as it says it does. My biggest problem here is the fact that the maker of the machine make outlandish comments about how you will end up with a washboard stomach etc etc etc Here's what they say...... The Weider Crunch Trainer has an ergonomic design which allows the correct and safest position for achieving washboard abs, allowing the user to perform the 'crunch', an essential exercise for toning the abdomen area. Its design positions the body to perform these exercises in a perfect manner ...

Review of Weider Crunch Trainer

Wakefield Museum, West Yorkshire

Advantages: Lots to see, free admission
Disadvantages: Mone as far as I was concerned

Although Wakefield is much smaller in size than its neighbours Leeds and Bradford it is still one of the principal cities in the region and it is therefore not surprising to learn that it has its own museum. Wakefield's museum is located right in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to the Town Hall and housed within a building that is almost as impressive architecturally as either The Town Hall or the County Hall. The building itself dates from the 1820's and has two different floors. In 2000 this museum was completely refurbished and since this date it has been fully accessible by disabled visitors with a lift to the upper floor. There is a small reception inside the entrance but the most notable feature as you walk through the doorway is the imposing staircase to the upper floor. Before venturing upstairs however there are ...

value for money lou lou is great

Advantages: great value for money and excellant staying power
Disadvantages: may not be to everyones liking due to strength of scent

Having purchased a bottle of LouLou a couple of weeks ago while on a tight budget and needing a new bottle of fragrance, I was pleasantly supprised at the scent considering that it only cost me £10. Lou Lou has quite a strong fragrance in my mind which I suppose may not be to everybodies liking, but is great if you like a perfume that lasts. After one spray the scent lasted all evening, unlike certain other perfumes which have cost me four times as much, and I have had to re spray every half an hour. Because of this the bottle lasts a much longer time saving you even more money. The scent is hard to describe, exept that it is not floral or fruity but more musky i suppose. The main draw back to this is that the bottle and packaging of the fragrence look very plain and old fashioned in my opinion ...
