Saves money, choose your own flavours

Waiting 8 hours for 1st batch

This review excites me as much as the day I got this Lakeland Yoghurt maker. When I was expecting my daughter I had completely gone off chocolate which as a total chocoholic it comes hard. It took me about 3 days to realise that my craving had become yoghurt I was getting through a few pots a day...

“Lakeland Yoghurt Maker”

published 22/04/2005

Healthy tasty easy and cheap

and that's just the reviewer (!)

I'm going to give this a good review because it's a great product - simple to use, encourages healthy eating (sort of) and saves ££££s! To set the scene: we eat a lot of natural yoghurt - with fruit or a dollop of honey as a healthy alternative to pud; in curries and raita, in sauces instead of...

“Quick cheap and very easy”

published 31/05/2003

Very quick and easy to use

nothing major

My hubby and I get through an enormous amount of natural yoghurt every week (both on diets...!) I spotted this amazing gadget in the Lakeland catalogue and sent off for one. At £18.95 it was reasonably priced and has paid for itself many times over. I make about 3-4 litres of yoghurt a week using...

“Could be improved, Lakeland!”

Produces excellent yoghurt very cheaply.

Container is difficult to clean and harder to fit ...

It crept up on us gradually. First we discovered that yoghurt is a pleasing alternative to cream or custard with puddings. Then we found that if you add some cumin it makes a good savoury topping for a jacket potato. A spoonful a day even seems to control a digestive problem suffered by one of...

“Kids need Calcium”

published 18/03/2006

Lovely smooth yoghurt, easy to make

No peeping

Every mother knows the importance of ensuring their children get plenty of calcium, usually in the form of milk. So when you have one that pretty much point blank refuses to drink it, eventually to maintain sanity, anyone would give up and let them eat yoghurts instead. Now from a financial point...

, After reading this review, I was in two minds as to whether to buy the flask type yoghurt maker ( easi yo or similar) or the Lakeland electric Bulk Yoghurt maker. I didn't want to be stuck with having to buy sachets in order to create yoghurt, but I also wanted foolproof results. Initially you...

works great

nothing

W do eat a lot of natural yogurt in our house - both me and my other half and the little lad also enjoys his yogurt at breakfast time on his cereal. It would cost us a fortune if we bought the amount we get through but with tthis fantastic yogurt maker from Lakeland we can manage to produce it at...

Cheap, easy and delicious

Manual could be improved

If you're spending a small fortune on shop-bought yoghurt, you definitely need this little gadget, which makes a large quantity of delicious, fresh yoghurt at a fraction of the shop price. If, like me, you prefer to buy organic as far as possible, the saving is even greater. The yoghurt maker is...

Our family eats loads of yoghurt. Each shopping trip I would fill the fridge and it lasted maybe 4 days. I looked at EASI YO and the Lakeland reviews . I decided the Lakeland machine would be more cost effective. Read that 1 dessertspoon of skimmed milk powder added to skimmed milk and 50ml skimmed milk would make a thick natural yoghurt. It works brilliantly. We flavour with sweetner and vanilla , lemon or strawberry essence. Sometimes I have plain with fruit. I have purchased a second inner and make a litre a day. So easy best gadget i ever bought.

“Why bother buying yoghurt”

published 31/03/2003

Extremely easy to use

Waiting for the yoghurt to cool before eating it!

For anyone who eats more than just the occasional pot of yoghurt, this product is ideal and almost as easy to use as the EasiYo (which, while easy to use, is intended for use only with EasiYo sachets, which can be a little expensive). The Bulk Yoghurt Maker is an excellent means of keeping the...

Great Tasting Yogurt @ Cheap Price

You cannot live without buying it

A great product, which has helped us making wonderful yogurt even in winters, I really feel without this we would have not eaten fresh yogurt. It is very easy to use for the people in the UK, get an onken biopot and use 2 spoons of onken bio yogurt to make a better yogurt than Onken biopot, I...

“FANTASTIC YOGURT MAKER!”

published 14/08/2012

Easy to use and wash.

No timer.

Very pleased with the electric yogurt maker. It's the right size for my kitchen work surface, not taking up too much space, as compared to some other brands I can't recommend this highly enough. My yogurt maker has been in use twice a week since I bought it and it produces lovely yogurt from UHT...
