Easiyo make it at home yogurt
i was wondering around my local health food shop and see this on the shelf and thought well it will be o.k If it works I suppose,
I had my reservations as to weather it would work or not, but yogurt s are good for you so that’s got to be a plus hasn't it.
oh and it taste good .which is unusual in itself for something that’s
suppose to be so good.

It’s a yogurt maker with a difference;

The difference being that it’s not electrical so is not able to blow up.

it’s that simple a child can use it;

well it would have to be simple for me.......

The first thing you think of about with a yogurt maker is it needs a lot of milk ,and you would be right for most of them but not this one you don’t need any milk at all. All you need is the special sachets of yogurt mix mainly available from the out let you purchase the yogurt maker from
as i have already said Its so easy a child can do it;

First of all you fill the jar half full with cold water. (Done that)
Then you add the sachet of yogurt you require to make. (Done that)
Mix it in well…….
Next you fill the remainder up with cold water until you get to the top.theres a mark on it.
Put on top and shake well.

Told you it was easy now the most difficult part about it;

You put the kettle on; (.o.k. Right)
When its boiled you put the boiling water in what’s called your flask but only up to the top of the red bit(they call it the bevel) got it…?
Put what you have done in your jar in the flask and put on the top…
I told you it was easy;

Now all you have to do is wait for 6 hours.
Yes I said: 6 hours then you will have yogurt if you want it firmer put it in the fridge for a further 2 hours.

There several different sorts starting with oh so natural unsweetened or sweetened plain yogurt.
Natural, unsweetened
and peach reduced fat for those of us that are concerned about our figure.
and finally apricot(unsweetened)
They also do pro biotic organic reduced fat nectarine and boysenberry
Greek (unsweetened)
Greek with honey and vanilla custard.
So that’s what’s available.
Now for some technical stuff :
for thousands of years people have made there own yogurt as by its lactic cultures it increases in available nutrients’ and large amounts of live lactic cultures resulting in a food that’s very high in dietary value (in short its good for the body)
studies have show that as well as providing calcium, protein and all that other business it also increases our body’s defense system from all the bad stuff in our intestines and so forth, one gram of freshly made yogurt after 6 hours of making contains billions of live cultures and a normal yogurt bought from the shops contains millions. They contain live cultures such as ibulgaricus and pro biotic to name just a few of the active ingredients in it and explain why its so good and good for you as well.
Not only is it good to eat , and is good for you but as it has the same qualities as natural yogurt does in the fact , you can use it as a cleanser if you wish to remove make-up ,or leave a thick layer over the face and neck as a toner, then wipe off with a damp cloth or even a face pack for dry skin normal skin and oily skin.

For dry ;

you mix together 1table spoon of you freshly made yogurt 1 teaspoon of runny honey and1 mashed ripe avocado spread the mixture over your face and leave it 10 to 15 minutes.

For normal skin;

Crush a few slices of cucumber to a pulp mix 1 table spoon of your freshly made yogurt and a few drops of rose water and also leave for 10 to 15 minutes.

For oily skin :

Its slightly different as you only leave this one for 10 minutes 1 tablespoon of your freshly made yogurt 1 teaspoon of honey 1 teaspoon of oatmeal and 1 mashed peach.
not included in the book but what I have learned from experience its also good for vaginal thrush and sunburn as with thrush the good bacteria kill off all the lurking bad and with sunburn it moisturises the skin stops it from the sore burning feeling and you don’t peel so much.
Also included with the yogurt maker;
Is a colour brochure, I suppose thats what you could call it .With some helpful tips and also a trial sachet of yogurt for you to try to begin with oh and also some nice cookery tips for you to try in the back of the book.
I am really pleased with mine and in sure if you like yogurt to eat or as beauty treatment try this and you will be too.

The places to get one from;
I got mine from Jonathan graves health food shop but there are other places that stock them.
The Easiyo website is you can change prices to British Pounds / Euros etc.
And the ultimate question being how much was it:

Mine was in a half price sale that’s the main reason why I bought it.
it was £7.99.
But you can buy them on line for about £14.99 or a kit which gets you started on the road to making your own yogurt for about £18.99.
Or even do like I did ,
if you are local to a Jonathan graves health food shop have a wonder down, and see what type of deal they will do you on one as I have found out not all prices are always set in stone.
